We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and very elegant. The breakfast was delicious with many fresh options. The location is perfect — close to the Old Quarter but still quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hanoi!
We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the breakfast exceeded all expectations with its wide variety of choices. The room was spotless, with fresh white towels and a tidy atmosphere. While the furniture had a slightly classic feel, it was beautifully kept. The location couldn’t have been better — just steps away from everything.
Overall room was very small, bathroom was tiny, we asked for king bed and they put us on lower floor.
Breakfast was good, coffee was terrible. There are better options available around the area for that price point.

Great location, amazing staff + daily choco hour
Location was excellent, service team was v good - friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel v welcomed. Pillows were soft so affected our sleep on the 1st night. After requesting for harder pillows, rest was wonderful. Oh, the 5-6pm chocolate hour was a great touch. We enjoyed our stay overall
One of best stay for me in Manila due to good location, amenities within the hotel, proximity to airport and city and most importantly, the staff that makes you welcome starting from the reception to their impeccable house keeping.
Couldn’t fault the hotel. Hotel had all amenities and done beautifully. The cabana bar/pool was a great place to arrive back to each night and food/drink of top quality and staff throughout hotel kept an impeccable standard. Chocolate hour was a lovely touch and great choice including a chocolate fountain. A few minutes out from old quarter but Grab taxi’s took 5 minutes (c£1). Wouldn’t think twice ti book again if went back to Hanoi.
Very nice and comfortable hotel in the French quarter. Good bed and appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine in the room. Walkable area toward the lake and the shopping district. Almost next door to the “Hanoi Hilton” prison museum which is worth while visiting. Other sites a bit further. Staff and service excellent - attentive, friendly and efficient.
Property is well maintained, clean and blessed with polite staff throughout. Catering is ok, though nothing special. For the cleaness and polite dtaff , I sure will recomend this fine place with confidence
Great location, walkable to many attractions and to the lake. Very comfortable, large, modern, clean rooms. Chocolate happy hour daily at 5pm such a treat! Breakfast spread very good, very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely return.
Excellent staff and great location. It's walkable to old quarter when weather is great and not so humid. Staff forgot my wake-up call. Thankfully, I also set my phone alarm esle I would missed my 6am flight. I was too tired and worried
I strongly believed our room had mold problems. both my husband and I had headaches, sinus, and congestion every single night we stayed at the hotel. When we were out and about, we were fine. As soon as we stepped into our room, we started getting sick. We went to Ha Long Bay after 3 nights; we were both fine. Never again staying at the hotel that you can't open the windows.
We stayed for 4 nights, in two separate reservations as we went on a cruise at Ha Long Bay. The hotel staff were courteous to save our large luggage at their storage until we returned for the second stay.
The staff at the reception and the restaurants were helpful and courteous.
The room was clean. The bathroom has a bidet. There's a safe, iron, and ironing table.
There's a nice swimming pool and a good gym.
Overall, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
The breakfast buffet is big and has a wife variety of international and Vietnamese options. For halal meat seekers, they post a lable on meat items to indicate if it's halal or haram.
Our booking was half board, so we enjoyed the dinner (a la cart) from 6 to 10 pm. They offer either a set menu or a selection from a regular menu. The chicken and meat pho are very tasty (both are halal).
The hotel also offers a chocolate hour (5-6 pm) in the lobby, where you can enjoy a delicious treat of chocolate pieces, chocolate moose or cake, and fruits to be dippid in the chocolate fountain. The kids loved it!
There's a nice swimming pool and a good gym.
My stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre in Hanoi, Vietnam was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and welcoming. The hotel perfectly blends luxury, comfort, and Vietnamese charm right in the heart of the city.
The rooms were elegant, spotless, and incredibly comfortable after long days of exploring Hanoi. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making the experience feel truly first-class. The breakfast selection was outstanding, with a great mix of local Vietnamese dishes and international options.
One of the best parts of staying here was the location — close to many of Hanoi’s historic attractions, shopping, and nightlife, while still offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere inside the hotel.
If you are visiting Hanoi and looking for a hotel that delivers excellent hospitality, comfort, and convenience, I highly recommend Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre. A true 5-star experience from start to finish.
