Power was out due to a storm when I check in, That was not something they could control. I had no HVAC air until around 2:30 am the next morning because (I was told by staff that it was solar and would have to be restarted by the power company) ? There were no plates to have our breakfast in the next morning only throw away cereal bowls. Other than those 2 items it was a pleasant 2 night stay.

The bed was the most comfortable and the room darkest and quietest of any place I've stayed, even those 3 times the price. The room was spacious and comfortable and the view from my window of sunset over the lake! And it was cool that the clerk knew who I was before I announced myself due to online check in. On the other hand: The elevator to the 3rd floor acted like it was not in tip top shape and the breakfast mediocre. But I would definitely do it all over again.

No major problems. Dining room was comfortable and well stocked for breakfast. Staff was wonderful, especially the housekeepers. Price was perfect for one night. However, buy a carpet cleaner for the lobby, update the weird quasi-Graceland/mountain chalet theme (again, lobby), and fix the elevator. It jerks and drops and shutters like crazy.

In town for a funeral, the staff was Excellent and very accommodating. Nice location on the lake with nice restaurants near by and convenient shopping. Good hot breakfast and a nice quiet clean hotel.

Our room was a mixed bag. Clean, but felt old. Comfortable bed, but lumpy pillows. A large shower, but no soap provided. Blackout curtains, but no liners for privacy (and we were on the ground floor). I would give the room a 3, but it was clean and didn’t feel gross, so I will give it a 4.

I went there to get a whirlpool bath and asked specifically for this hotel only to find out that there was no working Jacuzzi for at least a year, but still advertising that there was one. Had to go through a lot of wrangling to get my refund and still have not received my credit. Hopefully I won't have a problem getting my money back for the two days that they promised I would receive.

I did not get to stay in the room I paid for. Front desk said the room was unavailable due to a broken bed. So instead of the suite I paid for with a full kitchen, I stayed in a room with two queen beds. I was offered no refund or rate change for the lack of room availability. Just “oh well”. When I got up to the room, there were holes in the walls, the phone didn’t work, the desk chair was ripped and tore up. I saw no staff, no one at the front desk all four days I was there.

Beds were clean. Room was dated. Carpet was worn, but clean. Shower curtain was stained. Frig is powered by a light switch that took us a while to figure out. Plug in by window only worked on the top plug. Outside garbage, by front entry was overflowing. Trash scattered around front grounds, along with cigarette butts. Leaves & debris along walk and drive. We walked around side to see the lake and there was trash, cigarette butts, beer cans, etc around side and back of hotel. At the back was a patio that had not been maintained. Lights were missing, furniture was broken, patio was covered in debris & trash. It was quite evident this area was not maintained regularly. We went back through the pool area to main lobby..the hottub was non functioning, with police tape around it. The pool did not have any movement, so unsure if their was any type of filtration being used. The room itself was tidy, but very hot & humid...their appeared to be no fan working. The 3-11 lady was AWESOME!!! VERY FRIENDLY!! The 7-3 lady seemed confused or dis-interested when I informed her there was a dead pigeon laying at side of hotel in the mulch. It suited our need for the night (a clean bed), but would not recommend if you want more than that.
