It was very full when we arrived. Our neighbor seemed to be having a party with the door opened slightly and cat food poured out almost in front of our doorway. I was a bit skeptical at first but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room above us had some beating and bumping going on when I first arrived but quickly quieted down. We had no noise the rest of the night.

The property is older, but well maintained. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and engaging. The entire motel was booked, and I think it is because of the cleanliness, location, and staff.

Not much nearby, but 20min to Bryan / College Station. When hotels are $300 a night near A&M, this is a reasonable alternative. The room was impeccably clean, freshly painted and felt like a safe place right on the freeway. Not a luxury stay, but it does the job. I would definitely book here again.

I do apologize that you feel this way. When booking online it states no breakfast. I'm sorry that you missed that. You do have a coffee pot in your room. We also provide coffee packets, creamer, sugar etc. We appreciate your feedback. Thanks

Clean Room Very Hard Mattress & Pillows
The room was clean and check in was easy. The mattress and pillows were horrible and very hard and could have slept better on the small sofa. There are firm mattresses, but this was beyond hard. I dont like giving bad reviews, but others that may have back issues may also want to take note of this.

Ok I guess
AC never reached the temperature I had it set on. The room never got as cold as I like it it was ok for one night but no more than that. I had drinks on the balcony partying making noise way past Midnight and staff did nothing about it

light next to bed didn't work, TV didn't work, walls were paper thin, bed was stiffer than a board, staff was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. They were more interested in talking on the phone than helping customers. worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

Great place to sleep!
Staff was very friendly and check in was quick. The room was clean, smelled good, and ac worked well. Shower was clean and water was hot. Really can't say a bad thing about this spot. We slept very well too.

The rooms are nice and the decor is too, the bathrooms are clean nice and comfortable mattress but th floors were sticky even the carpet. Need to be deep cleaned bad.

Outside looked like it was run down but this was a trip I paid for my son and he was pleasantly surprised when he checked in and saw the room. Easy check in, pleasant staff and fair price for what you get

Quiet, clean, efficient... exactly what was needed. If traveling into the College Station area I suggest skipping the high priced 'chain' hotels/motels and drive the few extra miles to Hearne (20 miles). Nice, quiet and a much, much better stay unless you're actually wanting the craziness of being in the middle of a college town with college crowds. We stay at the Budgetel... it has everything we look for on any road trip - clean, safe and accomodating. See you next trip Budgetel!

When I got there the Lady was still in training (2nd Day) which was fine she was doing a great job and was very friendly. The guy that was training her is who I didn't like: 1. She had to ask for his help twice before we had to wait for him to come out. 2. When he did come out he would wave his hand in front of her face to shut her up. 3. He was so overly controlling he was making her nervous and would not let her speak even when she had a question. 4. When she tried to explain to me where the room location was he put his finger in front of her face shutting her up and he says no you don't speak, while simultaneously telling me that I better hit agree six times in sign on the signature pad. 5. He was very unprofessional because he was doing all this while still on the phone arguing with somebody else.

They advertised a Continental Breakfast but there was none throughout the 3 nights of our stay

First and foremost, the room, for the price was below average. I'm assuming the front desk clerk didn't have any change, so he wanted to charge me the next whole dollar instead of rounding down to the lesser dollar amount. Wasn't a people person at all.
