"Great, classic, old hotel. Over 100 years old! Maybe is ready for some renovation but I wouldn’t want to change ambiance of the place. Not a lot of dining or shopping options outside the hotel but a nice place to spend a few days around the Glacier area. Nice golf course for the golfers! "

"The accommodations, though modest, were very comfortable. The parking was in a well-lit, safe area. The motel manager was kind, and helpful, and went out of her way to engage us, personally, and to answer any questions we had. "

"The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. However, the cleaning person did not do a good job. On top the toilet tank, there was a wad of dirty toilet paper left. That was disgusting. We had a warm room with a bed to sleep on. The price was so low that I should not really complain. "

"Located about 1/2 way between east and west entrance. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The steps up to the loft are steep and the ladder to the other bed would be difficult for someone older. Outside has picnic tables, chsirs and games. Not much of a town but good food available. Would definitely recommend."

"If you’re looking for a quaint lodging experience, you will love Bear Creek Guest Ranch. It’s a family owned/operated ranch with 5 small cabins, horses, and 40 acres of land to explore. It is nestled between the National Forest and Glacier National Park, about a 15 minute drive to East Glacier. Dusty, Indi, and Bill immediately made us feel at home upon arrival. The cabin was a comfortable studio style layout and essentials were provided- heat, towels, and a soft bed. It’s nothing fancy, it’s rustic and cozy, perfect to come home to after a day of exploring the park and enjoying dinner. I recommend ending the day with a cocktail on your cabin front porch, soaking in the quiet and the view before taking a warm shower and getting a good nights sleep so you can do it all again the next day. A homemade breakfast and coffee were available in the main/check in/lobby cabin every morning at 8:30 am. I highly suggest you don’t miss breakfast, it’s a delicious spread. They also gave us fantastic recommendations for planning our day, preparing a route, providing a map, and helping us prioritize what we wanted to see and do, complete with shopping and eating recommendations. If you love animals, you’ll be in heaven with the two property St. Bernards, Dixie and Diesel, and cat Harry (Hariett), who will belly up for pets. If you’re lucky enough (and if you want her to) she will curl up at the end of your bed for the night. We came from FL and would definitely be repeat customers!"
