“Location was lovely. The rooms were spotless but I felt the garden rooms were rather exposed. Maybe net curtains on the windows would have given a little more privacy.”

“I think the hotel is pretty,i like the rustic feel and furniture of the lounge/restaurant area. However the bedroom and bathroom can do with a modern , colourful,light and airy renovation. The bathroom is outdated ,I think they can update this. The staff can improve by being a bit more welcoming,friendly and warm. Sadly in my room,m was on the ground floor and I was able to hear everything happening upstairs, n on the main corridor,so it was rather hard to sleep. so the place needs thicker...

“Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again. ”
