“A lovely stay at the Royal Oak for one night. Very friendly and attentive staff. They were more than happy to arrange late access to the property due to us having to return to the room late at night. Breakfast was excellent, with options for full English or kippers, plus plenty of toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt. The car park is very small, and can't accommodate all vehicles, however there is ample parking on the road at the front of the property. The room was comfortable with clean linens....

“Really well located on the doorstep of the city. Had a very friendly welcome and staff were accommodating & helpful throughout. The site said it was LGBTQ friendly and it really was as a LGBT couple celebrating a wedding anniversary we felt very comfortable here. Breakfast was really nice & a decent size. The room was a good size, clean and had a nice view of the art gallery. Evening entertainment was lively & enjoyable. Will be staying here again when we next visit York.”

"조식 무료인점이 너무 좋고 요크중심가 위치도 좋다 새로 문연곳이라 깨끗하고 좋은데 청소가 최악. 먼지가 겹겹히 쌓여있고 컵 얼룩은 기본. 디스펜서에 컨디셔너. 로션도 비워있는데 룸청소후에도 채워지지 않음. 그리고 너~~~무 추움 난방 기본설정온도가 너무 낮다. 그래도 나머지가 좋아서 더러운건 못본척 지냈다. 요크가 아름다우니까!!"

"The hotel was clean and conveniently located (about a 10 min walk from the railway station). It isnt super close to the city center (about 20 min), but the walk isn’t too strenous (no hills!). Would recommend."
