"Impressive building but disappointing breakfast and I was surprised by £22 parking charge. Having paid over £230 for one night stay I thought this costly extra should be given prominence in the hotel’s info. So all in all the room was ok, the historic interiors were impressive but I wouldnt rush back."

Did not have breakfast as i was enjoying my sleep! Special note of thanks to the member of the housekeeping team that helped me figure out how the lights worked. Would stay again."

"Room was clean and staff were nice. Good breakfast selection. Was quite busy over Easter and the kids corner in the lobby is a great idea. We could only book the pool for 30min slots which was the only downside. The walk to the town from the back was much nicer."
