“Such a lovely little holiday home, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Teg is literally in the middle of nowhere, blink and you’ll miss the turning so make sure you read your email directions. We didn’t! We followed the sites postcode directions which aren’t specific enough. The accommodation is so quaint, lots of lovely blues and Cornish ware China, everything you need to make a cup of tea and coffee and toast and the hosts very kindly left us a cream tea to enjoy when we arrived. “Absolutely beautiful family set of rooms, stunning view of St Michael’s Mount, w causeway right outside. Unfortunately, windows covered w scaffolding and workmen starting on our 2nd day, making bathroom without curtains unusable. Reception unhelpful (blamed property company) until the last day of our complaining when they offered a small discount on our stay (but still didn’t cover window). Although we received notice a week or two before our stay that this was happening, that doesn’t really ...

“We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on....

“Darren at reception was really lovely, the lady who served us breakfast in the morning was very lovely and accommodating. The hotel dog ran up to us barking as we were leaving, which was a bit alarming. The bedroom was simple and clean. Unfortunately the hotel has an awful smell, even in the bedrooms, like damp or mouldy carpets. A bee was in our room, luckily my husband was able to get it out. I appreciate it is an old historic building, but a deep clean and refresh of the carpets might help.”

“It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk from the B&B to the causeway out to St. Michael's Mount (we didn't have a car). But it was probably the nicest place we stayed on our three-week trip to Ireland and southwestern England! It's next to a pasture with horses and has a lovely lawn with chairs, and the bathroom and bedroom and kitchen areas are large and beautifully appointed. We wished we could stay longer!”
