“Just an overnight stay before dropping iff our son at Newcastle Uni digs. Ample free parking. A very friendly and helpful receptionist. From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep.”

“Really lovley area, check-in was easy and Jay was nice enought to let us drop our bags early so we could explore newastle.
Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport.”

“We stayed for our Anniversary trip and I booked the Olympic suite restaurant and wasn’t disappointed, fabulous food, wonderful attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for us , room was fantastic comfortable beds and pillows , bed was enormous, we had a bath and shower and tea making facilities, everything was within walking distance, lovely few days would certainly go back and a great choice , my only negative was parking which can spoil your experience and made arrival for us very stressful ”
“Lovely place to stay. My only criticism is when asking where to park the receptionist on the phone recommended a car park miles away (st Mary's). Don't! As long as it's not a match day, it was easy to park straight outside and then don't pay in the blue car park, they have a code inside for half price. ”
“Lovely clean hotel. 15 min walk from Newcastle city centre and close to public transport options. Italian restaurant attached who were happy to provide food to take back to the room (food was excellent too!). Staff were really friendly and helpful and having a grab and go breakfast you child pre order was a great option ”
“Set in the grounds of a golf course, the room, part of the Courtyard area, was exceptional. Set on 3 levels, the bedroom was on the top level with wall mounted TV, then a seating area below that and a second TV, and the bathroom below that.
The only negative for us was the heavy quilt, which was too hot, and the soft pillows, offering little support.
Breakfast was excellent. It was ordered from the menu. However, a buffet offering fresh fruit, pastries and cereal would be a useful addition....
“There were no cocktails to be had At All ! The pillows need changing as they are like bricks and the Showers need a shower mat as it becomes very, very slippery.
This is a shame, because everything else was Great.”
