Nice hotel warm welcome coffee on arrival upgrade etc... Nice good price evening menu offered. Excellent location less than 10 minutes to the main town. Parking very good and allowed us to check out and leave the car. Lovely breakfast plenty of choice and nicely cooked. Would stay again
Stayed in this lovely small hotel
For a work trip. It’s in a slightly older style but still very pleasant. Michael and his colleagues were very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and the room was comfortable and had what I needed. Bed comfy and room tidy. Breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend for visits
Et fantastisk hotell med en herlig atmosfære. Vi spiste middag på hotellet to ganger og det kan anbefales. Vi reiste litt rundt i nærmiljøet med buss og tog, slik at vi fikk sett noen fantastiske slott.

Delightful, helpful staff. Nice to be in an independent hotel.
In the bathroom there was an extending double faced magnifying mirror which made applying make up easy, this is the first time I have ever seen one in a hotel. Excellent
Friendly owners, very welcoming.

Excellent location, good breakfast and service.
Tried to find some last minute accommodation for the rugby at Cardiff and Hereford seemed like the nearest place that had rooms. The hotel was perfectly located near the station and walking distance into the town. The owners said my room was empty so I was able to check in early which was really helpful. Free parking was also helpful. The room was quite expensive compared to others I stay in. The hotel was pleasant and full of character. The room was a little dusty around the windows, the bed was a little squeaky and the bathroom a bit tired. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. I would stay again given its location.
From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked-out, the service at Aylestone Court Hotel was impeccable! Coffee and lemon drizzle cake on arrival, excellent breakfasts and sublime evening meals including perfectly cooked steak and following evening lamb on the bone with a red wine jus!
Would definitely recommend.
Very pleasant stay at this small hotel. Owners were very welcoming, including coffee and cake on arrival. Room was fine, bed comfortable and the breakfasts were very very good(especially the vegetarian sausages)!
The owners are friendly and welcoming, offering me coffee as soon as I arrived. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast tasty and cooked to order with plenty of choice. I had a lovely couple of days and would definitely stay again.
We were going to a funeral in Hereford, so booked an overnight stay at Aylestone Court as it was conveniently situated. Check in wasn’t available until 2:00 pm, but we were arriving at 11:30 am. I rang the hotel a couple of days beforehand and asked if we could leave our car there at 11:30 and check in later. However, when we arrived they had made a special effort to get our room ready early, so we were able to book in straight away. We had our 17 year old granddaughter with us and had booked a room for three people on the Hotels.com website. However, the Aylestone Court had us down as a double only. The proprietor said it wasn’t a problem and if we gave him 10 minutes, he would move another bed into the room, which he did. Now that’s good service! The following morning after a lovely breakfast I went to pay the bill. I was p,easantly surprised when I found out that they had only charged us for a double room. What a pleasant surprise in this day and age. The proprietors of this Hotel are lovely people. Highly Recommended
The owners of the hotel are very helpful and welcoming, making their home a very friendly place to stay. The building is elegant with a lovely dining room and cosy bar area. However, some of the fabric of the building needs attention. Our room was spacious but the furniture didn't allow enough space for storing/putting things on. The bathroom needs updating.
The hotel has plenty of parking space and is close to the railway station. It's about a 10/15 minute walk into the centre of Hereford.
