Quality Inn Seekonk - Providence

2/10 Terrible

"The staff were not helpful and when I first walked in it smelled like mildew. I asked to extend my stay by 3 hours and I paid the fee with no issue. When I went to the counter the next day to verify I was all set. The person in the front stated the other employee should not had extended it by 3 hours and check out was still at 11AM. Meaning I lost theat additional fee I paid for nothing. There were stains everywhere on the carpet and when it was time to check out. I asked how long the incidental deposit takes to return to my account. The staff was trying to say I never paid one and to show proof I was charged the fee. He even asked who helped me when it was he that checked me in two days prior. I literally had to show him their on receipt and my bank account to proof it. Worst experience ever."

"The premises were undergoing maintenance repairs during my stay. Perfectly adequate for an inexpensive stay. If you are a fussy type, demanding luxury, sumptuous frills & spotless facilities, go to the Waldorf Astoria & pay $500/night. But if you'd rather save yourself a bundle, stay here. Note: High-maintenance & high-strung personalities will have a fit. Avoid yourself the aggravation. Leave them home or else get ready to shovel lotsa money into the Waldorf Astoria. A note to management: It'd be nice to add a rack to hang bathroom towels, an unrusted medicine cabinet in the restroom & a table in front of the TV so guests can eat without balancing their meals upon their knees. Management was friendly, courteous & prompt answering requests. I've stayed twice here & would be happy staying again should I come through town again. Reasonably priced considering the place & its conditions."

"This is a cheap motel. We only needed a bed to sleep in for one night and a place to shower. This is what we got. The first room that we were assigned could not be properly locked. We complained. They immediately sent someone to check out our complaint. Then they gave us a different room. I assume that they fixed the lock problem the next day but I do not know. We did like the breakfast place that was only a six minute walk from there."

"New hotels are always nice, and this property was no exception. The rooms come with a cooktop, fridge and freezer, and microwave oven. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The property has an outdoor seating area with a fire pit, as well as a modern and well equipped gym. Highly recommend this Marriott."
