My room was dirty, tub so damaged I decided not to use and only one towel which was crumpled so I thought it might have been used. And this was my second room the first couldn't stay in. Add to all this there was no coffee

Property needs renovations
We ended up having two cancel our stay because we tried two different rooms and they were both awful. The first room had awful mold in the bathroom and no fridge. The second room we were offered had no couch, no towels, only three sad pillows on the king size bed. This one didn’t appear to have mold in the bathroom but it didn’t appear very clean. Both rooms had envelopes begging for tips. The lobby of the hotel is dark, dingy and smells heavily of cigarette smoke. The staff was very kind and helpful though. We just couldn’t justify staying there when the hotel next door was the same price with better amenities and in a much better condition.

Don’t stay
It was noise, floors were stained, the room wasn’t clean, the sheets were stained, and the shower was hodgepodge together. Worse hotel experience I have ever had.

Condition of hotel was unacceptable
The condition was terrible 1st room had roaches, tub drain was tapped. Toilet didn't work. Would have only cost about 20 maybe to fix toilet 2nd room had fleas. Asked for another room but heater didn't work.

The restrooms smelled of mold as dis the ac unit when turned on, the bedding looked dirty and pillows were covered in hair and were flemsy. Check-in was a breeze but the lobby smelled badly. We did not stay and if we are back in Hermitage PA again we will not stay.

There was nothing we liked about the property. The room was disgusting. It was a smoking room but there was ashes everywhere. The lamps only 1 out of the 4 worked. We will not be returning. I would like a refund for this unconvinced

The place was so dirty. From the moment I walked in the front door you could tell it is not well managed. Room was horrible, bugs everywhere and not a clean sheet in sight.

Large RM, but Stinks! MUST remove carpets!!! Disgusting Bathroom! Door Hits Toilet- See pics! No microwave. Fridge: No shelves/didn’t work. Run don't walk away if you are considering staying here. This is one of the most disgusting hotels I have stayed in. The pictures online are not accurate. The first room I was given had areas of the ceiling that were wet looking and looked to be bowing, receptacles without covers, the door was splintered by the safety bar where it looked like someone had tried to kick the door in at one time, areas were painted haphazardly and never finished, the spigot was loose and turned almost 360 on the sink, and the entire room stank to high heaven. After complaining I was given another room that was markedly better but still in very run down condition and in need of major updates. Sheets had stains and holes and there were no matress covers on the mattresses which were old and stained. The hall going back to the rooms on the C hall was carpeted and smelled of piss. As soon as you opened the door to go back the hall the smell was overwhelming. This hotel has long time rentals and I have a feeling there are people living there on a permanent basis because as soon as you pull into the hotel there were cats sitting on the windowsill inside one of the rooms that watched the comings and goings. The grounds of the hotel were littered in cigarette butts, garbage and dog feces. The only positive thing I can say about it is it was relatively quiet. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The lobby and hallways smelled of cigarette smoke even though I had a nonsmoking room. Had to ask for towels and washcloths. The shower did not work. Could not adjust the air conditioner/ heater.

Needs Lots of Work
Put in room in poor condition. When shower head didn’t work next morning I was given another room to shower in that was so much better. Property is to undergo full renovation so wait until then to consider this property. Or, inspect room thoroughly and ask for a better one if you find problems.

The rooms are not like the pictures. They are dirty and need an update. The toilet was not flushing and the shower wasn’t working. So we had to leave with no shower and use the washroom at the Walmart close by. Would recommend staying at the Quality Inn right next door it for the same price. Terrible hotel, never experienced anything like this in all my years of travel.

I think this hotel has plans to update as I saw new flooring awaiting installation. This would be a good idea. The room I had was very dated -particularly the carpet. People were lovely and friendly, however.

The room was disgusting! Really wanted to leave, but it was too late at night. Stains on the walls, bedding, carpet. Mattresses were filthy and looked moldy. Lampshades were ripped. Layers of dust on the chairs. Faucet on sink and toilet were loose. Woke up in morning and realized window was open with no screen. Hallway smelled and was really hot. Ice machine on first floor didn’t work. Parking lot was a mess and was not maintained. The lobby was the only clean spot in the whole place. Will never stay here again!!

Worst Hotel Experience EVER
One word, ATROCIOUS. The website is totally false advertising. The rooms are not 100% renovated so we were in a room that did not have the new flooring. It was still the carpeted flooring. We had a room with no fridge. No smoke detector. We had reserved two rooms. The second room was the same as the first as far as the carpets but at least it had a smoke detector and a fridge. Our room had cobwebs in the ceilings. Carpet did not look like it was vacuumed, the table that was in the room was not wiped down. It looked like it had sawdust of some sort on it so when I wiped it off I had to use one of their face cloths and it came off some type of red debris that you could not even see white on the face cloth anymore. I ended up asking for a refund and went to another hotel in the area where I spent $20 more for the room and the difference was night and day. I will NEVER in my life use a Red Roof hotel again. I understand that the hotel was going under renovations. I totally get that but to advertise that it is renovated was totally misleading. We also get into our room and there is an envelope on the dresser and it is handwritten asking for tips, now I've been into hotels where they have had envelopes on the dresser where they are looking for gratuities and that's how it is listed as gratuities which is a politer way of asking for tips. Usually they are a nice typed, written and envelope. This one one was a handwritten envelope. Just left on the dresser it was just very tacky

The pictures on Expedia are a misrepresentation of this property. The rooms were dirty and there were bedbugs found. We did not stay here, we left and went to a cleaner hotel

Pool was closed due to maintenance, it smelled horrible like dogs throughout the hotel! The linen and towels were dirty.

Check in was good, the staff were helpful and friendly and the room was ok. The hotel is definitely in need of some upgrades. There were no towels or washcloths in our room. The air conditioner didn't work at all. The bathroom was not very clean. There were stains on the walls and some stuff on the toilet. The walls in the back stairwell are scuffed up and have cobwebs all over the lights and in the corners. There are key pads on the doors to hotel but they do not work. The ice machine was absolutely filthy. The pool has been out of order for who knows how long. There was coffee in the lobby area in the morning but the sugar and cream containers were open and not sealed. I stayed here a couple of years ago and it wasnt like this or maybe I was in a different area back then, idk. I enjoyed my stay back then but sadly I wont be back unless some upgrades happen.
