"We were in D.C. for a long weekend getaway. We arrived at The Hamilton 3 hours before check-in time anticipating to have our luggage put in the luggage hold. We were pleasantly surprised to be told that our room was available. The lobby area was beautiful, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a reasonable size, and very clean. The hotel is very conveniently located - 1 block away from the closest Metro Station (McPherson Square) and blocks away from many of the areas we were heading."

"I was directed to this property as a hub for experiencing what Washington DC and Northern Virginia have to offer because of it's centrality and proximity to public transportation. It was excellent logistically but lacked in other comforts. If you're traveling aline, freat. With a spouse, so-so. With a family, definitely not as there is ZERO privacy for whatever gets done in restrooms if you get the picture. Staff was friendly and gelpful. Exercise toom small but modern eith everything necessary. Step outside the front door and WHAMMO, city life at it's finest and it's worst. Sirens 24/7 and there was a riot of teenagers just down the street. All in all, it met our purposes. "
