Das Hotel ist sehr grün und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Leider waren die ersten Tage die Liegen am Pool immer besetzt, sodass wir früh aufstehen mussten um auch mal Liegen zu besetzen. Am Ende wurde es dann reguliert, was auvh gut war. Ansonsten waren die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche nicht richtig sauber...Das Essen war hervorragend traditionell... Immer frisch. Am Morgen gab es manchmal stau am Milchkaffee Automat. Probleme wurden gleich behoben. Im großen und Ganzen war alles super....5 min zum Strand und gleich daneben ein kleiner Supermarkt rundenden es ab. Malia ansich gefällt mir jetzt nicht so, aber ist ja Geschmacksache.... Danke für die Zeit und ich empfehle ein anderen Wäschedienst. Lg

2016 neu modernisierte Zimmer (Superior)

Wir (2 Erw.-1Kind) haben uns kurzfristig entschieden für 5 Tage nach Kreta zu fliegen. Das Hotel Kalypso wurde uns von Bekannten weiterempfohlen. Wir haben das Superior Zimmer für 4 Nächte gebucht. Zimmer: 2016 neu modernisiert, seht modern und stylisch eingerichtet Service: sehr nett und zuvorkommend Sauberkeit: jeden Tag wurde gereinigt, Handtücher ausgetauscht etc. Hotelausstattung: kleiner Pool nach dem Strandtag völlig ausreichend Frühstück: mehr als in anderen Hotels der Sternekategorie Strand: war sehr voll, aber kinderfreundlich, Sonnenschirm und Liege 3€ pro Person völlig in Ordnung Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir können das Kalypso Hotel weiterempfehlen

Hotel familial avec joli jardin et piscine

Nous nous rendons depuis plusieurs années dans cette hôtel à la même période. Cette année lorsque nous sommes arrivés, les réceptionnistes (Irini et Christina) nous ont tout de suite proposé de visiter les nouvelles chambres (Superior). Nous avons tout de suite dit oui avec un petit supplément. Ces chambres ont tout ce qu'il faut, WIFI gratuit, frigidaire, coffre-fort, climatisation. ventilateur, bouilloire avec thé et café, produits douche, shampoing, lait pour le corps et produit pour les cheveux, sèche cheveux. Les Chambres sont très propres et tout le personnel est au petits soins pour vous pour des vacances super. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous ne manquerons pas de revenir l'année prochaine. Félicitations à toute l'équipe du Kalypso.

Perfect location

Situated in a relatively quiet part of Malia, 5 mins from the beach, shops nearby. Beds a bit hard, hot water a bit unpredictable, but rooms regularly cleaned, food excellent and all set in wonderful lush greenery.would go back

Leuk hotel aan drukke weg

Gezellig hotel op loopafstand van mooi strand (via ander resort aan de overzijde). Strand vzv bedjes (€2/dag) met parasol (€3/dag). Heel veel gezellige restaurantjes in de buurt. Gesitueerd tussen Malia (druk/jeugd) en Stalis (meer voor gezinnen). Helaas meerkosten voor kluisje (€3/dag), airco (€5/dag) en evt. Koelkast (€5/dag). Zwembad is wat klein en de bar bij het zwembad wordt niet meer gebruikt. Harde bedden. Handdoekenwissel wordt slechts een paar keer per week gedaan in tegenstelling tot wat ze beloven. Mensen van het hotel zijn wel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Hotel in Strandnähe mit süßem Pool und tollem Team

Unser Trip nach Kreta (Malía) war ein voller Erfolg. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Team (besonders Maria und Petros) ist einfach top! Hilfsbereit und stets freundlich. Das Hotel ist in unmittelbarer Strandnähe (150 m läuft man - 3 Minuten ...) und der Strand ist auch relativ sauber :-). Aber auch der kleine hoteleigene Pool war recht sauber und bot ausreichend Liegen. Zur kurzen Abkühlung war dieser echt praktisch. Nachts schläft man recht ruhig - nur die Matratzen sind ein wenig hart (aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache ;-) ) Dennoch ist die Lage des Hotels sehr günstig, da es direkt an einer Hauptstraße liegt, die viele Möglichkeiten wie Bars, Restaurants, Mietmöglichkeiten (PKW, Quad's, Ausflüge) und Souvenirläden bietet. Auch die Taverne des Kalypso Hotels ist lecker und preiswert. Für die Abendunterhaltung sind coole Bars aber auch eine Partymeile mit Clubs und Pub's in der Nähe (15 min zu Fuß) aber noch so weit entfernt, dass man Pöbeleien vorm Hotel verschont bleibt ;-) Ich würde das Hotel jedem weiterempfehlen, der einen schönen (recht günstigen) Urlaub machen möchte!

Très bon rapport qualité/prix

L'hôtel est très bien situé et dispose d'un parking gratuit. Le personnel est dans l'ensemble très sympathique, que ce soit à la réception ou au restaurant. La chambre était propre, nettoyée tous les jours et le linge remplacé chaque jour si besoin. Par contre l'équipement est minimal, il n'y avait pas de tv ni de wifi dans la chambre. La nourriture du restaurant est de qualité, les prix corrects. Même si cela n'était pas notre priorité, nous avons aimé l'apparence de l'hôtel, qui tranchait avec les nombreux hôtels monoblocs de l'île.

Really good hotel. quiet and yet close - walking distance to shops and cafes/bars etc. couple of miles from youth central Maila. the hotel is walking distance from nearest beaches. good clean well run and highly recommended if you want non corporate type set up. this hotel is family run type. low key and economic - does what is says on the tin.

Nettes Hotel mit sehr guter Preis/ Leistung

Für diesen Preis ein super Hotel mit guter Lage (ca 5 Minuten zum Strand und etwas abseits vom eher lauten Zentrum) Das Personal sowohl im Hotel als auch in der Taverne ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen und die Cocktails sind gut. Unsere Zimmer sowie der Pool waren stets sauber. Die Klimaanlage kostet nochmal 5 Euro pro Nacht. Dennoch bleibt der Aufenthalt damit günstig. Die Betten sind etwas klein und nicht sehr bequem auch ist das Frühstücksbuffet nichts besonderes, jedoch für diesen Preis absolut in Ordnung. Würde dieses Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen, wenn man für wenig Geld einen schönen Urlaub haben möchte.

Nous avons fait un voyage itinérant de la crête sur 12 jours avec mes deux enfs .Très satisfaite de tout nos hôtesl ou rent room mais vraiment cet hôtel est à éviter: lit supplémentaire or de prix après une erreur de réservation de leur part ,petit déjeuné compris juste pour cette personne mais pas l info, quand on dit que l on n' a pas bénéficié de cette prestation il nous la font payer quand même .Envahi de Fourmies dans notre chambre au rez de chaussé ne peuvent toujours rien faire .PISCINE très sale. Personne à l'accueil incompétente désagréable . Cherchez un autre hôtel il y a de quoi faire dans cette ville. Le GPS de trouve même pas l'hotel, c est un signe.

Bien situé (dans la partie calme de Malia, proche d'une belle plage et des bus vers Heraklion et Agios Nikolaos notamment), cet hôtel à taille humaine est charmant, l'équipe est accueillante. Le jardin est magnifique et agréable. Le confort des chambres se limite au strict nécessaire, le buffet du matin est simple (pas de petit cartel pour indiquer les produits: c'est la surprise!) . Il est dommage que le frigo et la clim soit en suppléments et que le wifisoit uniquement dans les parties communes, mais cela n’entache pas la qualité du séjour. Mes 3 semaines ont été très agréables! Pensez à l'anti moustiques!

The area is both remote and near to the palace, great food, and the gorge. The owner is a lovely man who is generous and attentive. He takes great care of the place and his guests. It is totally relaxing here, but having a car is a must!

Quiet little hotel on a great street

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. It was only a few minutes walk to the beach and it's on a road with lots of restaurants.

Bon séjour mais peu faire mieux facilement.

Lits vraiment trop durs, heureusement nous avons pu obtenir 2 oreillers chacun, sinon impossible de dormir pour quelqu'un qui dort habituellement sur le côté. Petit déjeuner décevant, nous avons été obligé d'acheter notre jus de fruit à la supérette. Personnel sympa, hotel a l'abri du bazar environnant mais chambres mal insonorisées, on avait donc les voisins qui rentraient à 2h du mat tous les soirs... Le resto de l'hôtel est très correct.

Hotel carino e tranquillo

Si trova nelle vicinanze della spiaggia a metà tra malia e stalida, è un hotel semplice visto la differenza di standard tra alberghi italiani e greci. Il personale è disponibile. Si hanno tutte le comodità nelle immediate vicinanze e se si noleggia uno scooter si può girare la zona e raggiungere hersonissos in 5 minuti. Consiglio solo la colazione in quanto con 10 15 euro a testa si fa una mangiata con i fiocchi! Il ristorante dell'albergo offre piatti tipici e gustosi. L'unica pecca dell'isola è l'enorme quantità di animali randagi o tenuti a catene cortissime.

Una dormita e via!

Una perenne aria maleodorante mi accoglieva tutte le sere al rientro in camera; ho imparato a conviverci per non essere assalita dalle zanzare che aspettavano in agguato dietro le finestre. Niente aria condizionata, o meglio, a pagamento. La biancheria veniva cambiata ogni 4 gg....vada pure per le lenzuola, ma gli asciugamani con la sabbia dentro nooo! Il personale, giovane e gentile, mi riportava alla civiltà e la colazione talvolta mi faceva sentire a casa. Per il resto speravo di addormentarmi presto sognando l'incanto della successiva spiaggia da visitare!

Tre stelle son troppe!

Abbiamo scelto l'hotel Kalipso, oltre che per la posizione in cui era ubicato, per l'offerta gastronomica presentata sul sito. La realtà dei fatti, per quanto riguarda il secondo aspetto, è stata a dir poco imbarazzante se si esclude il ristorante a la carte. La colazione a buffet si è rivelata misera e del menù tanto decantato sul sito, neanche l'ombra. Per quanto riguarda la posizione, la pulizia della camera (tranne per l'odore assai sgradevole del materasso) e la gentilezza del personale, il giudizio è sicuramente positivo.
