"Front desk staff member was extremely pleasant. The room appeared clean, but smelled stale and not fresh at all. The linens and towels were worn and cheap and the room, furnishings and entire hotel are getting shabby. It didn't have a business center of any kind, not even a computer/printer in the lobby for guest use, which was a problem when I realized I needed to print a document and had no way to do so.
Overall, probably a standard small town worn budget hotel with no frills. I was appreciative of awesome staff and a clean room. "

"I am a bit leery of small places like this, but this one far exceeded my expectations. This is not a five-star resort. This is a small roadside Lodge that is locally owned for a night of restful sleep. It was clean and felt safe. The host was wonderful. The only thing you should know if there are no restaurants close by. If you want to eat, do it in town before you arrive. This would be a perfect place to stay if you are wanting to go into Big South Fork for night sky programs"
