“Since it is made of wood made by furniture, I was very surprised that a spoon-sized cockroach entered between the floor and the gap between the furniture. I'm from Korea, but there's no big cockroach in Korea. It was at least 3 times bigger! It's noisy around, but it's rather attractive because its wonderful bars and atmosphere to enjoy of Austin. The room is big and comfortable. The bedding is clean and the cushion is good.

I’m a UT Austin alumni and this was a visit to Austin after 20 some yrs with my college son. The hotel had a sense of class and its connections with the univ brought me back memories of UT days.
As for thr accommodation, it was spacious in and out and overall it was nice. However, I’d like to mention several things as to help improve the site.
1) The room was not so quiet — street noise and chatters from the corridor were transferred transparently.

“The hotel is very good, great atmosphere, new and well located. The pool was overcrowded. There was no room for us. I don’t know if those people were hotel guest or guests of the guests. ”

The facilities are also excellent for a 3 star property with outdoor swimming, hot tub and water games including TV and fires which make for a lovely relaxing end to a busy day exploring the great outdoors.
The breakfast also offers a really good choice of both hot and cold options.
