Don't miss if you are in the area!

Hillside Cottages were a delightful discovery for a two day getaway. Beautifully situated between two mountain ranges they are simple but well appointed with what you need to get away from it all. We saw deer in the morning, just outside the window. Very private.

The cabin behind us their bed backs up to the wall of our bedroom. All “things” done in that room is heard loudly in the other room. Normally not a problem. But this stay it was almost all night and multiple times. Hard to sleep through all that banging and loudly screaming for God.

Not a private cottage

This property is really adorable and tranquil. Which makes the fact that our "private" cottage was actually a duplex that much more frustrating. If it had been marketed that way, rather than framing the pics and description to suggest it was a single detached cottage, I would have booked something else. Sadly, two of the "cottages" on the property are actually a single cottage with drywall down the middle. So literally every time the people next door walk on the floor / go to the bathroom / shift in bed, you can hear it. Not so tranquil.

We had a great stay at the Hillside Colorado Cottages. The area, property and cottages are beautiful to explore the countryside. Surrounded by the mountains, the views were amazing. The Property Manager lives on side and is there for any needs 24/7. We will definitely return one day!
