Wonderful staff; adequate room. Restaurant was great. Lots of construction going on right on the property. TV - terrible.

A uniquely wonderful place to stay. Live the touch of details though out facility and rooms. Great location, clean room and facilities.

Gibson Inn has the charm of a B&B and convenience of a good hotel. Very charming atmosphere, fun bar and bikes and golf carts good for exploring.

Our room was on the third floor, steps were hard especially carrying our luggage and belongings! next time we stay there, first floor only for us old farts !!

Charming historic hotel
Charming, historic hotel. Our room was fabulous! Not huge but so comfy and updated. The hotel bar is cozy and the food was amazing. Great staff! Would 100% stay again.

Beautiful old hotel. My room was small (but less expensive!) but has a newer marble bathroom. Very good mattress. Dinner at the Franklin Cafe on site was very good but a bit pricey. A nice escape from Tallahassee at the end of the week.

Stay was excellent in this inn. Everything was spectacular from the cleanliness to its rustic appearance. The only solitary thing I can say is that we received a room next to the main stairwell that received much foot traffic.

No parking available….just street parking and now impossible because of the seafood festival that we did not know about, neither was alerted of. 2 spiders in the room! A charming old hotel that has been on the bucket list but did not live up to the expectations!

The electronics are too complicated and did not work. The TV is incomprehensible unless specific instructions are provided, and they are not. The AC is complicated.

Wake up “call”
I stayed one night on my way to a weekend with friends. I had an exhausting day of travel and was looking forward to sleeping in. Early in the morning workers arrived outside my door and began drilling and hammering. When I went to leave they literally had equipment blocking my exit. It was not the peaceful stop I had hoped for.

We apologize the stay was not what you expected. We aim to make every guest experience a great one. We are currently in the process of switching from real keys to Key Cards, which is more than likely the cause of the noise.

Great location
Located just outside the center of town your room is still quiet. The property is old but renovated. My only caution would be that is you are concerned about walking there are no elevators. Our second story room was somewhat challenging to get to. The front desk offered help but I refused. I probably would have taken it if I knew how mant steps were involved.
