โIf you are going to Mackinaw City, you really should stay on the beach. The Hamilton Inn was affordable, clean and best of all, right on the beach. There was also an indoor pool in case of bad weather, but we did not use it.
Breakfast of scrambled eggs and waffles was available. It was hot and delicious.
I did wish there were amenities like a lounge or restaurant, but there were lounges within a 3 block radius that were walkable, even for us senior citizens. โ
โA hidden gem. Remarkable and unique motel with the best view in Mackinaw City. Rooms are decorated in charming bear theme and have everything you need. The mini fridge is big and even has a good size freezer to put ice packs in. My only complaint is that the sink doesnโt have any room to put toiletries or my flat iron.โ
โOwner was very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect close to everything we wanted to do. Room was huge with 2 queen beds, very comfortable and great shower. Very good bang for your buck. Highly recommend. โ
โA good value option in a town almost entirely devoted to tourism (a fudge or T shirt shop on every corner, it seemedโฆ.). The facility is dated, but our room was spotlessly clean, if also a little dated.
Overall, we found it a convenient and enjoyable place to stay for a night.โ
