“The lodge is lovely with very attentive staff. The cat sanctuary is a must visit and trips to Hluhluwe was easy to organise. It is an easy drive to St Lucia and to Bayete to see the elephant education demonstration which is a must-do. Be aware that there is very little around there so likely you will need to eat dinner at the lodge. The foods is quite plain with not much choice. Also be aware that the rooms have no TVs. I would recommend the Lodge for its position and the attentive staff.”

“The staff were all attentive and friendly with great meals and selections of wines. Rooms were decent with good wifi connectivity. There was also a choice of two pools in the lovely grounds however both were very cloudy a temporary bulb I am sure ”

“I loved this place, convenient for a stop over on the way to the coast. The dinner (Stew & salad) was amazing!! Lovely rooms, with private outside area where you can sit and listen to the birds. Definitely recommended.”

“Moderne, luxuriöse Lodge mit einem wunderbaren Team. Aufmerksamer, freundlicher Service. Das Essen war hervorragend. Die Game-Drives mit Ranger Jason Branford waren lehrreich und unterhaltsam. Viele Tiersichtungen: Löwen, Giraffen, Nashörner, Nilpferde, Impala, Nyala, Kudu, Warzenschweine, viele hübsche Vögel. Ich werde sicherlich wieder dorthin fahren.”

“The property is beautiful and I loved the boardwalks through the forest. The staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly - they went out of their way to accommodate me as a vegetarian and the chef made a delicious curry even though it wasn't on the menu. Thank you for the lovely stay!”
