"Amazing location. One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed. No shoes allowed - tatami mats - slippers provided for bathrooms and lounge area. Very convenient location. Right by Omicho market, a large mall w food market underground, walking distance to all the main attractions and Lawson 7-11 right around the corner. Great place to stay. Very comfortable. Note the locker size is small. I was able to fit a 45L backpack and day bag no problem but it won’t work if you have a suitcase."

"It was a pleasant stay and location is great. Is about 560m away from Kanazawa station .We are able to drop off our luggage at Kanazawa hotel before our check in time . Is a plus as this hotel is unmanned. Smooth Check in with password given. Comfortable bed and family friendly. "

"The hotel and staff are fine. My issue was with our particular room. It had a nice modern kitchen, with walls that were red brick, two different odd wall paper, and a beach mural. The ceiling was green with pink trim. The two twin beds were mismatched in style and height. The couches and bedding sheets were dirty with stains. As I look through their advertised rooms, I don’t see pictures of our particular room."

"The W&M House is simply outstanding. The suites are spacious, immaculate, well appointed, and very reasonably priced. While there is not much in the immediate area, the guest house is a short walk to many of the best spots in Kanazawa, whether the restaurant and nightlife district, the Omicho market, museums, and the gorgeous Kenroku-en Gardens. The manager is fantastic. Bill met us and showed us to our room, everything is clearly labeled, and when one of our party had an illness he helped out...
