"Extremely good customer service with lovely staff allowing us to park early and also check in early. Clean room, nice facilities and a great location, however the maintenance(sheets, towels, toilet paper etc) trolley being left in the hallway our entire stay was a little off putting and not the best thing to see all the time. Surely there’s a place to store these so they don’t get left outside your room permanently as I feel that’s not something a place charging $400++ a night should be doing."

"The hotel was very well presented and run professionally, however a few minor things let the experience down. I stayed in one of the suits and the shower drain was blocked, so it flooded the bathroom floor. There was an open bottle of champagne in the fridge on arrival, no cutlery or plates, and I could not find a bathrobe. Whilst basic/minor issues, it still had an affect on the experience and this information is solely intended to bring awareness to the importance of getting the basics right, and for constructive feedback purposes without I'll intent. All other things considered, I could not fault the establishment of staff and would happily stay again."

"Check in was fast and smooth and guy ws very friendly and when asked about the brekky told me it is cheaper to book with him than pay at the resto in the morning, we saved $15 for the 3 of us. However nice the beds are, the issue was that one of the glasses I used to drink was not washed well and I had a seafood allergy. I thought after taking a sip of water that I smelled something fishy. I asked my friend to smell the rim and true enough, she said it smelled like "mackerel". That night, I had a very bad reaction, couldn't sleep as I was so itchy and my friends said around 2:30 am, my face as all red with rashes! I was itchy all over and had a very bad time. I hardly slept, desptie taking antihistamines, it was a terrible feeling, I had to take another one to help me breathe well! My feet were so red, thighs and eyes so itchy too! My friend thought they needed to take me to a hospital, that was very scary indeed. I must have slept one hour, they said, I was so exhausted but I soldiered on as we had a cruise to do! I will probably stay there again but I will smell the glasses and mugs first. Buffet brekky was ok, but the blueberry danish was so tough for me, tasted old. I ws jsut back from Paris last May and the croissants and pasteries were not so nice at the buffet unfortunately. The juices were good and there a a great vrety to choose but I as still not feeling so well that morning, so was so careful of every item there."
