Excellent location on the beach but just far enough from all the big hotels to be quiet and peaceful. Hau Tree restaurant very good food with friendly staff. Plan on renting a car(valet parking) or getting an Uber to go to Oahu attractions as nothing but Aquarium and Zoo are close.

Beautiful views and wonderful location! The mother & baby Monk Seal were below on the beach so thankfully the hotel had access for us at another beach. Everyone is so helpful and the property has the delicious Hau Tree Restaurant right at the beach.

Mark was super helpful And friendly at check in. The hotel is dated with some normal beach wear and tear but everything was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I chose this hotel specifically because GPT said it has the best beach snorkeling in Waikiki. I found it just below average. Too many people (myself included) to keep good reef health, I suppose. The hotel had a great vibe and is in a neat location next to several giant parks which makes for great morning walking!

This hotel is amazing. They have everything - iron, coffee maker, towels, water, anything you need. It’s quiet, because it’s not in the center of a noisy Waikīkī. It’s beautiful, it’s comfortable. If only the sink could be inside of the bathroom and not outside it - would be the best. Cleaning everyday was great, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location of this hotel - super peaceful and quiet spot removed from the crowded and bustling main area of Waikiki beach, but easily walkable there if you choose. Beautiful views of both the beach and Diamond Head. Was only there a short time so didn't use most of the amenities, but lots of nice offerings. Amazing value for a highly touristic area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at Kaimana and fully intend to stay here again next time we’re visiting home. The beachside location is the main reason we booked here and we love this more chill corner of Waikiki, the beach was cozy and not as “touristy” as the rest of Waiks. Location, location, location. The housekeeping was great, front desk was helpful and overall a great stay. My only complaints were the lack of amenities in the rooms. It's 2026 and the lack of a coffee maker and microwave in room was disappointing. Also, while not in hotel management, I imagine it's relatively cheap to get some way to access streaming services on the tv without having to bring a laptop and hdmi cable. Otherwise great, the staff in particular. Although the lack of front desk staff in the later hours wasn't great. They were there, but there was no bell or anything to ring them. I get not having someone literally at the front desk 24/7, but if you're going to do that at least have a way to ring them instead of just waiting until they happen to see you on the camera or whatever. Also this is more Expedia's fault, but self parking was advertised, however valet at $55 a day is the only option unless you want to chance the street metered parking the entire stay.
