"Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. I believe this may be off season before a major holiday. Things were quiet, we had the pool to ourselves. Staff was nice to us and quickly responded to all request we had. They were friendly and even cracked a few jokes. I plan to come back with more friends because the stay was just that nice."

The staff was friendly and accommodating--even making a homemade soup for our daughter who wasn't feeling well one night! So kind!! For starters, if your idea of a great beach hotel looks something like a big city Marriot plunked down into a locale with sand and water, manned by local folks sanitized with white uniforms, then Parrot Cove Lodge, and for that matter Hopkins Beach in general, is probably not what you are looking for, and I'm guessing they are not all that interested in you either. If on the other hand you appreciate an intimate experience with your hosts, a clean, comfortable, well maintained room, excellent...

Five stars! Incredibly welcoming owners/staff, deluxe room - included microwave, toaster, refrigerator, TV (with channel guide)- and also provides bikes to tour the town! The owners walked us to our room and made sure everything was working. They also gave great activity ideas and restaurant recommendations. Plenty of parking just out front! And huge outdoor area with hammocks to relax! Loved this place!

We have been coming to the Maya Hotel and Bistro for several years. It gets even better with time. The Lees are excellent in maintaining their standards of service and training staff. They improve their facilities and it is a truly welcoming place. Like a home you know you can always go to for the comfort and care. And the food....second to none! A most creative menu, infusing classic cuisines with just the perfect Caribbean/Belizean flavor. We will always return!!

This is a true hidden gem I booked at the last moment. Arrived late night, but once the sun came up, you were in true paradise. Everywhere your eyes landed, beautiful existed. From the bedroom suite to the bathroom to the porch, to diner area, to the natural spring pool. Breathe taken. I need to plan a trip just to experience this boutique hotel again. Thank you staff for showing me the beauty of the people and of Belize.

This is a lovely beachfront property. My husband and I stayed in the Stingray cabana and it was perfect. Comfortable bed, large bathroom and it was nice having the option of leaving windows open so we could hear the crashing waves or turning on the AC if the humidity was high. The staff was fantastic. Thank you!

The whole place was amazing! The cabins were bare bones but clean and cute. We had a porch in the back right by the rainforest, but wished there had been comfy chairs to sit on instead of a small, hard bench. The bathrooms were clean with some interesting insect life to observe while sitting there. Showers were hot and good pressure.
The Toucan Cafe up front was superb - we ate every meal there. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Fridge and coffee maker are available for guests....

We got this place at last minute, arrive late and the owner host were waiting for us.
Room very naive, individual tree houses. The place is beautiful, we could not enjoy it ,much because we were in Placencia for a weeding and we were pretty busy, left early and come back late, we did have breakfast and I can say it is very good and reasonable, their restaurant have a great sea view.
