Elegant home with Beach at the Back yard

This is an independent home even though a part of Hopkins Bay Resort. The resort is 1/2 mile away where one can use facilities including beach volleyball, Kayaks, pool. Many good restaurants are reachable by walk on the beach. There is a dive shop next door for diving and snorkeling expedition.

We rented the whole house which was “beautiful “ clean, spacious and modern. Manager who now lives across the street, was always available and promptly attended to our needs. Location excellent at oceans edge, walking distance to golf cart rental, quite a few restaurants on beach and 2 doors down Beaches and Dreams scheduled tours and rides needed (Shuttles for our group of 10) Daily housekeeping including clean beach towels, laundry facilities, copious utensils and dishes, fans/ac, locked safe, small extra refrigerator in bedroom, plenty of patio furniture including 2 table/chair sets on first level, life jackets, paddle boards and inner tubes. It was awesome!!! 10 thumbs up!

(Now lives across the street) Excellent location at ocean’s edge, 2 doors from Beaches and Dreams which scheduled tours and rides (shuttles for our group of 10) quite a few restaurants on beach and golf cart rental within walking distance. Daily housekeeping including laundry facilities and daily beach towels, small extra refrigerator in bedroom, copious utensils and dishes, fans/ac, locked safe, plenty of patio furniture plus 2 table/chair sets on ground level, paddle boards, lots of life jackets, inner tubes and long pier on property. It was awesome!! 10 thumbs up!

Concerns for the Blue Parrot - Hopkins Belize

Issues that we had include: 1. The doors, though they are new doors they were hard to open with the key. We spent close to 4 minutes trying to open the door until our neighbors who also had the same issue helped us open the door. This is a safety issue as in order to open the doors in case of a fire you need to use the key to exit the room once the doors are locked. We tried opening the second door and gave up after 4 minutes. This is very dangerous especially for new renters who are not familiar with the locks. 2. We where unable to remove the key in the safe found in the room which made our values at risk. 3. The soap dispenser did not work, so we just removed the pump and poured the soap out. 4. The shower handle fell off, but was easy to put back on. Hope that helps.

On the beach, and close enough to town. But, to rent the entire house, it was limiting to have to go outside to connect the upstairs and downstairs. Very inconvenient

The home is very beautiful and clean. Perfect location right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The local property managers are very friendly, responsive, and helpful with any issues or questions you may have.
