담광장까지 걸어서 20-30분으로 센터에서 거리가 있긴하지만, 공항버스 내리는곳과 가까워 좋았습니다. 직원들이 매우 친절하며, 24시간 커피, 티 과일이 무료 제공됩니다(로비) 아침도 다양하진 않지만 괜찮습니다. 계단이 가파르고, 호텔이 도로가에 잇어 차서리가 시끄러운 점이 단점이지만 가격대비 좋습니다. 집은 직원이 올려다 줍니다,

smile and clean, 훌륭한 욕조(버블이 나오는), 햇빛과 바람을 느낄 개인테라스
직원들이 친절하고 음료서비스나 아침밥도 그정도면 훌륭합니다. 다만 다리가 아픈 나이드신 분들은 꼭대기층일 경우 엘리베이터가 없으니 짐을 들고 올라가셔야 하니 주의하세요. 계단이 많이 가파르고 힘들거든요. 그거 외엔 독일의 호텔보다 더 깨끗하고 매일 아침마다 물도 주고 간단한 초콜릿서비스도 있어요. 근처에 큰 슈퍼도 있어서 장을 봐도 되고요. 독일이나 체코의 비슷한 호텔은 침대의 매트리스가 겉으로 보기엔 깨끗해 보였지만 정말 가려워서 한숨도 못잤었는데.. 여기 암스텔담 알프는 진짜 훌륭한 거 같애요. 햇빛과 바람이 들어오는 개인 테라스도 있어요. 참 욕실은 작고 수압이 높지 않지만 버블스파가 되는 큰 욕조가 있어요. 욕조가 없는 욕실이 참 많은데.. 스웨덴에 더 비쌌던 4성급 호텔보다 더 좋았어요. 하지만 방이 작은 것은 감안하세요. (크기만 크고 물 끓이는 포트도 없고 침대보가 가려웠던) 지난 독일 호텔보다 전 개인적으로 이곳이 가성비 있는 곳이었어요. (암스텔담에 좀 더 위치 좋고 좀 더 엘리베이터도 있고 럭셔리한 곳은 가격이 엄청 비싸더라구요) 작지만 아늑한 다락방같은 곳이라고 생각하심 됩니다. 가성비가 좋아요.

I recommend the larger rooms at the back of the hotel. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. A very walkable location with tons of dining options within a 10min radius.

Hotel is well run and clean but we were given a ridiculously tiny room for two people, not at all as in the photos. Room should at most be considered a small single room at a much lower cost than we had to pay.

Not good value. Perhaps other rooms in this facility are roomier? This room fit two single beds in a walled nook and faced the noisy street. Ear plugs were provided! Be careful. Photos are deceptive. Otherwise the room was clean and staff were courteous,

Clean, Great Location, But Extra fees
The Alp Hotel is in a great location, right next to a bus stop that takes you right to Amsterdam Centraal. There was enough room for our family. The guy at the front desk was friendly & helpful. The only issue we had was the unexpected additional charges. Apparently there was an extra tax that hadn't been included in the original cost of the room. It was about $20. Also, when I booked the room, I thought we could fit our family of four into a room with three beds because our youngest is small enough to share a bed with my husband and I. However, the hotel wouldn't allow us to stay without paying another $60 for the extra person. Even after paying more, we didn't receive any extra bedding, so she still ended up sleeping with us. I realize this was my error for not confirming the correct number of people, but it ended up costing more than I feel was reasonable.

Great Stay but could be improved
The Good: Location was great, not to far of a walk to major attractions, located right by a tram stop which is very convenient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, room was very appealing, clean, and welcoming! Things that could be improved: Bed mattresses were not very comfortable, and the noises from each floor can be heard. I'm not sure if this is a Dutch thing or not, but there aren't bed sheets, just a comforter and mattress sheet cover. It can get pretty warm in the room even with the door open, there isn't much air movement. They did provide a small desk fan however this didn't do to much. If you have issues with stairs then this might be a pass as there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep (like many in Amsterdam). Overall: I'd stay here again if it were in winter where I knew the heat wouldn't be an issue. The hotel overall was in great shape, welcoming, and the staff was exceptional. With a few tweaks this could be a 5/5!

Hôtel à peu près correct, accueil lamentable !
Un rapport qualité- prix absolument pas correct : chambres propres mais petites et surtout une salle de bain qui mériterait un bon coup de jeune, aucun service spécifique par ailleurs ! La principale critique porte sur le personnel : un accueil purement commercial, sans aucun effort d'amabilité et une personne le soir et la nuit carrément désagréable, voire odieux...qui vous balance un papier avec le code wifi puisqu'il faut le réclamer et même pas un au- revoir lors du départ. C'est absolument lamentable ! Sans compter un dépôt de 5 euros pour le badge d'entrée (que nous avons refusé !) et une taxe de 80 euros à régler en cash (refus très clair et ferme de notre part et paiement avec carte bancaire). A déconseiller si on veut échanger et obtenir quelques conseils (l'indication de l'arrêt de tramway était d'ailleurs erronée)

There are so many positives about this hotel. It is super super clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was fitted with a new jacuzzi bath and we got free chocolates in the room every day. There's even a sink and a fridge in the room. However, it was a bit further away from the main sites than I would have liked and was situated right by a busy tram and road junction. The trams were really noisy although they did stop running overnight. The walls of the hotel are also very thin and there is limited space in the corridor, so if guests come in chatting at normal volume, the acoustics can make it quite loud. The hotel supplies earplugs and I now know why. It is not clear from the website if breakfast is provided or available. It is NOT. They have an arrangement with a local cafe where you can order breakfast to be delivered but this was a bagel shop and not what we wanted for breakfast. I woukd recommend the Breakfast Club which is about a 5 min walk away. On the whole, there are so many plus points. It depends what you want in a hotel I guess.

Clean and convenient treasure.
Small hotel with extremely friendly staff. No elevator, but the staff helped us with our luggage. Very clean and comfortable bed even though it was fairly small. All necessary amenities. Nice little balcony. Very convenient as the 13 tram stops right outside the door. Would stay again.

All staff are super friendly and accommodating. They even helped us carry our bags esp there’s no elevator. It is in a corner so transportation is so much easier to access and walkable to places like Jordaan area. The room we stayed in is small, but clean and cute with a balcony. Overall, I recommend this place.

Helpful and generous staff makes this place lovely. Be in good shape, the stairs are steep as is anywhere in Amsterdam. Room was a bit small but recently updated with an awesome jetted tub. Good to soak in after climbing 4 flights of stairs! Great location for sightseeing and shopping.

Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit Wir hatten das kleinste Zimmer mit 10m2 - Nicht zu empfehlen Zimmer auf der Straßenseite: sehr laut, da viele Straßenbahnen vorbei fahren - im Zimmer sind ohropax vorhanden! Straßenbahn Station und Supermarkt gleich gegenüber vom Hotel Gratis Kaffe und Tee neben der Rezeption ein Willkommensgetränk gratis 30 min zu Fuß ca. In die Stadt - Straßenbahn 17 ca. 10min Wir sind täglich zu Fuß gegangen - spazieren ist toll Foodhallen - eine Halle mit versch. Essen - 5 min entfernt Holt euch die infos von der Rezeption ;)

If you got loads of luggage this is NOT the place to be, there's no lift, the stairs are horrible and extremely narrow and nobody will help you bring your stuff up...

Dit Hotel is zeer gunstig gelegen. Diverse Trams stoppen vlak voor de deur of net om de hoek. Het is ook op wandelafstand van het Centrum gelegen. Personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Jammer dat er geen ontbijt geserveerd werd, maar er werden diverse mogelijkheden aangeprezen door het personeel. Sommige locaties geven korting als je zegt dat je van het Alp Hotel komt. Er is geen airco op de kamer, wel een ventilator en we sliepen aan de straatkant. Hierdoor was het wel moeilijk om te slapen, door de hitte en het straatlawaai. De kamer was netjes en alles was aanwezig. Elke dag een vers stuk fruit en snoepje. Hier komen we zeker nog eens terug.

We had room Amstel at 1st floor. Very nice and quiete with balcony. Very friendly staff. We went everywhere by walking, but there are trams nearby. Just be aware that the stairs are typical stairs for a typical house in Amsterdam. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel.

Vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis einfach Top ! Zimmer mit Whirlpool und Balkon ist zu empfehlen, da kann man selbst beim Businesstrip etwas entspannen.

Die Unterkunft war sauber das Zimmer war schön und für drei Personen ausreichen. Badezimmer ist ein bisschen eng wegen dem etwas zu großen waschbechen und toilettenpapier wurde nicht aufgefüllt am nächsten morgen. Ein Minihühlschrank wäre nicht schlecht gerade wenn es im sommer wärmer wird. Wir waren sonst vollkommen zufrieden, würde ich wieder buchen TOP.

Ein günstiges Hotel zu finden was auch noch ein Frühstück bietet ist eigentlich in Amsterdam schwer zu finden... Aber das Alp Hotel hat mich wirklich überrascht... Es fing mit der Freundlichkeit des Personals an und das Badezimmer war auch immer sauber was ja oft schon das wichtigste ist...
