Hotel was nice. Mini golf and heated pool onsite were nice amenities. Check-in was easy. Room had a unique smell when we checked in. Seemed to subside later in the evening. Awoke the next morning to housekeeping badging and walking into our room before 9am. So that was a wake up call. Then noted smell coming from bathroom sink- smelled like sewage plus rotten eggs. Called front desk and remedy was pouring a gallon of white vinegar down sink and shower drain. Front desk noted it happens when it rains. Ants on counter at breakfast buffet around waffle area and plates and syrup. Not sure we would stay here again after the smell issue without resolution.

Very clean, large rooms, public area very nice, friendly and helpful staff. This was our first stay at a Springhill and we will definitely be repeat customers.

Great Hotal
Hotel clean and bed are comfortable. Downstairs bar, pool table and jukebox area nice addition and area was lively. Breakfast was great with new item's such as spinach kish and egg mcmuffins. Hotel had a great outdoor area for small children to play right off the back of hotal. We did not get a chance to use the hot tub or pool area But when I peeked through the doors The amenities looked nice and several people we're using them. Overall great stay and we'll book here again.

We really enjoyed the pool table and video games in the lobby and the fire pit on the patio. It gave us a great place to hang out as a family!

Unknown Charges Added After Stay
We typically stay with other hotel chains but decided to give Marriott a try. The room was spacious and updated. Some furniture is worn and our blinds were stained/dusty. Sheets and linens were quite scratchy and could use replacing. Overall it was a decent stay and typically for the price of the hotel. They offered standard breakfast fare. After checkout, I was charged an unknown 20 dollar “cleaning fee”. When I called I was accused of “taking a pillow” and told they charge it under cleaning supplies. That sounded strange and like an odd excuse to me. I have never taken a pillow from a hotel in my life! No one bothered to call and ask. They just assume and add extra charges. I’m not sure if they do this with all third party bookings but it rubbed me the wrong way. I’ve never had to worry about counting items at the beginning of a hotel stay. From this experience I will avoid Marriott properties in the future. For the price you can expect better consistency at Hyatt or Hilton properties.

This was a beautiful hotel. It was clean and pretty. Breakfast was good! The out side deal was nice with a fire place and swinging chairs.

Loved the outdoor patio area. Cleanliness. Modern. We stayed 3 nights and were always treated as we came and went but when my key stopped working the staff member was rude about it. The bartender was rude the night we went there. I didn’t care for the bar hours. What bar isn’t opened on a Saturday? Or stays open after 10pm?

The property is in a quiet and safe area. The staff were amazingly kind and helpful. We were staying there due to unfortunate circumstances as our close friend was in the ICU at a nearby hospital and passed away while we were there. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. They made sure we were taken care of and took the time to accommodate our need to stay longer than we expected. This was extremely helpful, especially during such a difficult time. The outdoor area is a nice spot to relax and you can even play put-put golf. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of the spacious rooms and were pleased with the service that the hotel provided.
