The staff was awesome. They were knowledgeable and helpful. The room was clean, nice mattress and pillows. The sheets smelled freshly washed.

Great view of the water. First two nights next door occupants very noisy until 2-230am. We were on top floor, HVAC unit extremely loud above us and sounded as though it was malfunctioning, not just loud motor noise, during entire stay. There was a posting in the room that the unit may make noise, but it was extreme. Bathroom could use a bit more cleaning. Shower was clogged first two mornings.

There is construction going on until 2025 in front of property so construction beeping and noise all day. Be careful booking on Expedia and call hotel to ensure you are getting an ocean view/front the pictures that Expedia uses aren’t representative of room you are getting they are generic photos so better to Book directly with hotel to ensure you are getting an ocean view if that is what you are paying for

The hotel was chosen in part because it offered a free breakfast. The quality of the breakfast was uninspiring with limited choices and barely average in taste and presentation.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom queen suite with a kitchen; it was like a mini apartment. It was clean, quiet and the staff was always helpful and friendly. The area around the hotel was nice as well. Many restaurants and shops to walk to. We enjoyed the coffee shop just adjacent to the parking lot! Atlantic Beach was a short ride and had lots of public parking. Fort Monroe and the aquarium is a great spot to check out as well! There's lots more to do and we'll check out other spots next time! :) We had a totally awesome weekend getaway.

There was an error between Expedia and the property but Kelly the front desk clerk solved it quickly. The “boxed” breakfast was not appealing at all. They had limited cleaning services available. So we were handed a plastic bag with extra pillows we requested and had to put the pillow cases on ourselves. And fresh towels which are not offered but you can pick some up and we were given trash bags to empty our own trash or live with it in the room. Stay somewhere else.

This is a first class hotel with first class staff. You walk everywhere and experience Morehead City waterfront. If you are planning a trip to Morehead this is the hotel you want. Right on the water, well lit everywhere, very quiet and very safe. You won't be disappointed.

This is where you wanna be in Morehead!
This is clearly the premier hotel in the area! I come here yearly and have yet been disappointed. Great room and a terrific staff is the complete one-two punch to a wonderful visit. Close everything and just overall five stars!

The breakfast option was not good. The shower was very dirty with mold (black and pink). There was no hot water for my shower in the morning. Walls very very thin. Great location! Walk to restaurants. Pretty lobby.

Amazing Stay!
This was our first time staying at Bask Hotel and I couldn't be happier. We arrived late but Drew was the absolute best with our check in and very helpful getting us settled. Our stay was super the room was clean and spacious. Tiffany at the front desk was amazing throughout our stay, very helpful and was so kind to myself, my children and my granddaughter. I couldn't have asked for better service. I will most definitely be staying again!

Our Stay at the Bask
Our stay was very good and we would stay there again. The staff was very nice and helpful. Just a couple small things kept me from choosing “Excellent” on the options. We had three people and they only left two sets of towels/washcloths. We didn’t realize this until we were showering and didn’t want to make a trip down to ask for more, so we just made it work. Hotel hallways kind of have that musty old hotel smell. Breakfast was included, but you choose what you want from a very limited menu the day before. It arrives at your door in boxes. I just prefer hotels with a breakfast area that you can come down and pick out what you want there.

The Bask is a keeper!
First time at the Bask and wow was it worth it! Greatly surprised when I got to our room! It was a King suite with sofa bed...has a full kitchen and large counter! Beautiful waterfront view with balcony. I almost booked at Hampton Inn just down the road, but so glad I booked at the Bask. If you can, ask for one of the x05 rooms! Will come back again sometime!

Great view. Sub par service
We have stayed here 4-5 times over the years. It has really fallen off lately. It used to be perfect each time. The last two times we stayed have been sub par wit several issues. The worst part is that the staff offers no solutions. Most seem to not want to be there. Customer service was very minimal. Sarcastic people at the front desk. Overheard a housekeeper complaining about guests, other staff members, and god knows what else. The staff did, however, put on a SUPER BIG turd-eating grin as they listen to my concerns and tell me they are sorry!

Beautiful and spacious suite! Unfortunately we only stayed one night. Our only suggestion would be putting in a pillow top mattress. Staff was very helpful.

I really wanted to love it
This is one of my most difficult review. I loved the place, the views are stunning, the room was clean and all the staff members that i interact with were very nice and professional but the air conditioning units are installed in the rooms and are so loud, we could not sleep in the bed. We tried to move to the sofa bed, than put the mattress on the floor in the storage room nothing worked and to add pain to misery no continental breakfast as advertised just a breakfast sandwich. I really wanted to love the place, the staff deserves an upgrade from Wyndham to make that place perfect. I guess the choice is to turn off your AC or not sleep.
