Warm welcome by front desk. Easy walking distance to center of Ybor City; clean, large, spacious rooms. Ample safe parking. Breakfast offered many healthy choices. Great lighting in bathroom and very clean. Only one negative and that is the pillows did not hold their shape very well - I had to stack three together and still they "smushed down". So bring your own.....is an alternative.

The staff at the Hampton Inn in Ybor City makes you feel welcomed. They are eager to help, always with a friendly attitude and providing great guidance as to where to go, what to visit and how to get to places. The rooms are comfortable, just what I was looking for.

It's a good clean tidy hotel in the centre of Ybor so walkable to everything. Expensive for what it is but the options are very limited in Ybor. No issues other than reception could be a bit friendlier on arrival....

There’s not many places close by but we did do uber eats & I got to order bottles of wine for my cruise It is close to the port & has a free shuttle to port but no airport shuttle. Breakfast was good & free

Really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was so friendly and accomodating. So easy to walk around Ybor from the hotel. Also loved that we didnt have to use valet parking so could access the car easily anytime we needed it, and it was parked in a safe place not one of those open lots. Definitely our new place to stay in Tampa.

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel last weekend, and it was fantastic. We'd just gotten off our cruise ship and had our cab bring us to the hotel to see if we could get in our room early, they were very accommodating! The place was comfortable, quiet, clean, and the staff were the nicest. We'll definitely stay there again!

The front desk staff was very hospitality. Everyone was soooo nice, the cleaning crew, the lady that set up the breakfast on Sunday, Miles the Hilton vacation rep. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Property was fine, clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good. I was disappointed when I checked in and was told there were no double queen beds left although I had a reservation and had called to inform them of my late check in. I was given a king bed and sofa bed as a “ free upgrade “!? Explain that to the person who slept on the sofa bed

The staff was nice and helpful. They have a shuttle that runs to the cruise port every half hour. Nice clean room but it had a musty smell.

When I arrived I was advised that my second guest could not park their vehicle due to a one car limit because of an event. The other Guest in my room was forced to park elsewhere for $40, and then move their car to find another place to park at 3AM. Their front staff Tayvion was rude and disrespectful and has no customer service skills. He was sarcastic and came around the desk in an aggressive manor. Many people loitering in the parking lot and around the property. Did not feel safe. I will not stay at this location in the future.

I am sorry that parking for a second vehicle was not available while you were with us. However, as I am sure you saw yourself, parking is limited. Therefor, we have to limit each reservation to one vehicle to ensure that we have parking available for each room. This policy is clearly posted online as well as in confirmation letters in the hopes to prevent issues like this from arising. We are always happy to extend additional parking passes when the hotel is not sold out and it is available. However on a special event weekend, such as when you stayed, that simply is not an option.

Arrived at the property for our scheduled check in time, only for the property to not have our room ready nor any parking available for our car. We didn’t check in until 2 hours later and when asked if they would discount our rooms for the trouble they said no.

Beds and pillows were comfortable. I liked how you couldnt get to the rooms unless you had a room key....elevator wouldnt work unless you had the room key. That adds to the safety of the place. Didnt get a chance to try breakfast cause it stopped at 930. Cons...the biggest con i had about the place was the fact they charge you $20 a day to park. Like parking should be included in your nightly stay. Not the safest area...homeless people all around the front of the building...begging for money.

Everyone here was super nice! Check in was very quick and the rooms were very modern and clean. We walked to an ice cream shop down the street after dark and felt safe. Would stay here again.

MODERN! My FAVORITE hotel in Tampa!!!!!!!
I SUPER LOVE Hampton Inn Suites Ybor!!!! It was my loves 50th Birthday. The Strip of restaurants and clubs was a 2 min walk away. We stayed 5 nights. The Hotel was MODERN and CLEAN!!!! The bed was King size the tv was about 65-75inches all which my man loved. Lauri on front desk and the entire staff was extremely accommodating,friendly and professional. If you are like me, sick and tired of Hotels looking nice online only to arrive and find it outdated and gross, we hit the Jackpot with Hampton Inn Suites Ybor City! I can’t wait to fly back to Tampa. This hotel is MY new home away from home. Love from Bermuda, Dabrina & Mr. LCB
