The owner met me close to midnight and insisted i park on the grass which was snow covered. I was driving a 26' Uhaul towing a trailer with a car and knew this was a bad idea but he absolutely insisted and kept saying "no problem". Well it was a problem and for stuck. 3 hours the next morning the 3 of us and a local tried to dig out, removing the car, trailer and buying kitty litter in the process. The owner and his wife were extremity helpful I will admit, they were relentless in their efforts to help fix their mistake including not charging me for the one night stay. On the other hand $500 for a tow truck to help pluck the uhaul and trailer out was obscene and not worth the hassle which also cost me to lose my next motel non refundable reservation of $180. The towels smelled funny but other then that it wasn't a bad room, just don't park where it isn't paved regardless of what the owner tells you

it is right beside the lake. hotel was very old. Heater was not good but good thing is that staff give us portable heater but we still feel cold. Nothing special or unique. Its like you get what you pay for. $90 for one night is good enough to get sleep and ready for next day travel.

Good, clean, and convenient modest motel with a kind owner. Conveniently located off the highway and being on the waterfront is a neat benefit. Tv has a good selection of channels and the kitchenette is also convenient. Coming back when im in the area

Stayed overnight on the way to Quebec city. Very friendly staff. There is a picnic table just beside the river with great view.

Location is great. A family run property and the owners are cordial and welcoming. Planned to stay for one night but than my car broke and had to stay for 3 nights. Owners were so cordial that he even offered a discount on my last night stay plus extended my checkout time. It’s a waterfront property. Rooms are clean and spacious.

La propreté de la chambre laissait à désirer (poussières dans le coin & grille de l'air climatisé sale). La salle de bain était propre. Pas de réveil-matin dans la chambre mais appel à l'heure précise par le personnel comme demandé. Odeur de fumée en entrant, même si la fenêtre de la salle de bain était ouverte. Personne à l'accueil sympatique et dévouée, parle anglais et très peu français.

If we were not stuck for a room we would never have stayed here. Room carpet was old and dirty. There were hairs from previous people on toilet and in bed. Light switch for bathroom was actually inside shower curtain when shower was in use. Showed with light in bathroom off. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Les serviettes et les draps étaient propres, mais c’était à peu près tout. Poussière et toiles d’araignées dans les coins de la chambre et sur le rebord des fenêtres. Salle de bain aux murs tachés de je-ne-sais-quoi. Un morceau du calorifère est tombé quand mon conjoint a fermé la porte de la salle de bain, laissant apercevoir un trou rempli de poussière et de toiles d’araignées. Miroirs au plafond de la chambre (au secours) qui, en plus, ne donnaient pas l’impression d’avoir été lavés depuis plusieurs années. Nous étions contents de partir et nous ne serions jamais restés plus qu’une nuit.

Room definitely needs upgrades and a deep cleaning. Overall it was clean. Shower curtain needs to be cleaned or changed. Paint would make the room look cleaner. Lights need to be cleaned. Mattress should be changed.

Great place for what you pay for. The front lake bedrooms are beautiful in the morning. I recommend it.

Check in was easy and very accommodating, checkout was as easy as a key drop. Couldn't get any closer to the river unless you went swimming in it. I will definitely try to go that way again .

Felt unsure about this property upon arrival as all the lights were off when we arrived. When we got to our room, we did not feel comfortable staying the night. Dirty, dark and overall creepy. We didn’t even unpack, we went to return our key, get our money back and leave for another hotel but the person at the counter had already locked up, turned lights off and left.

Surclassement à notre arrivée pour une chambre avec cuisinette. Directement sur le bord de l’eau et c’est ce que l’on souhaitait. Épicerie a proximité (1 minute en auto, 3 minutes à pied) Plage publique payante à 6km. Établissement vieillot, mais honnête pour le prix.

We stayed 2 nights on our way back from travelling from New Brunswick, stayed in room 12 right beside the water Staff was very friendly, would come back :) Parking is Bit tight for anyone with a smal trailer or large suv

Such a beautiful location I must say!!! We were doing late check-in (around 2AM) but he made sure we have access after check-in hours. Room was so beautiful, with mirror on the ceiling, we indeed got a beautiful picture. Right outside the motel, their is a lake which was so beautiful in the morning, even though we stayed only for 1 night but it was a great stay.

Excellent bang for your buck!
Excellent price considering the location and view, yes the motel is outdated and needs upgrading but it does contain everything you need, friendly service, clean, with a comfy bed. Grocery store completely located and a short drive to the beach!

Beautiful view, easy access. Good pricing. This isn't the Ritz-Carleton, but a good spot to lay one's head down for the night. A fresh coat of paint wouldn't hurt, but then again, you don't notice this while sleeping. Staff were friendly.
