Favorite place I’ve stayed.
Beautiful B&B! Lovely hosts, delicious breakfast. The room made me feel like a princess. It was spacious and beautifully decorated! Lovely views from our room. Fantastic scenery all around.

Fabulous stay, fabulous hosts
Fabulous room with everything you might want - including in-room silent fridge with fresh milk and water; kettle and Tassimo coffee machine and pods. Bed was super comfy, and bathroom really nice. The hosts were really welcoming, told us about the area and the room, and provided a wonderful breakfast. We just couldn't have wanted better.

We really enjoyed our stay. Greg and Louise are lovely people and couldn’t do enough for us. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and breakfast was really very good.

Lovely rural location. Very welcoming owners - we appreciated very much having our cases carried to our room. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast extremely yummy and superbly cooked and presented. Very highly recommended.

Poole Farm is a superb find. Louise and Greg are two of the nicest, most professional hosts we've come across in our travels. Poole Farm is beautifully appointed, very comfortable and set in beautiful countryside. Louise went over and above by offering to do our laundry which saved us not only time, but an extra drive after a full day of driving. Louise's recommendation for dinner was exactly right for what we wanted. If Australia wasn't so far away, we'd be staying here a lot!

Home from home
The host was extremely welcoming, she really had thought of everything. Breakfast the next morning was cooked to perfect. The room was very spacious with stunning views across farmland. The only negative which is no fault of the owners and could be a positive to some.I had very limited phone signal which was a challenge as I was working on business in the area. However with the use if Wi-Fi I was able to send emails.

Outstanding. Customer service was excellent from the start of my ‘customer journey’. I stay in many hotels as part of my job and they could learn a lot from the owners of Poole Farm. Room was beautifully decorated, a good size and the bed and bedding was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I have dietary allergies and they were fully provided for. Location quite but very near A30. Worth every penny and I definitely will be back.

Wonderful B&B, Would stay again.
Absolutely wonderful B&B. The views from the bedroom windows were delightful, and the location perfect. The rooms were clean, and very well kitted out (dressing gowns in bathroom, fresh milk in fridge in room, etc.), and very bright and airy. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

Fantastic B& B
A fantastic stay, excellent facilities with a very well equipped room including robes, slippers, toiletries, fresh fruit, chocolates, coffee machine, kettle, variety of hot drinks,and fresh milk and bottled water in a fridge. A very comfortable stay with excellent hosts. A very good breakfast menu all freshly cooked to order.

Cosy, quiet, fantastic breakfast
Lovely location, big room, friendly hosts and a fantastic breakfast. Just a couple of very small niggles if you are someone who has a bit of limited dexterity - window blinds and curtains fiddly to use and the same with kilner jars at breakfast. Duvets a bit small and bathroom floor quite slippery if wet and toilet roll difficult position to reach again if movement is limited and if small cannot reach shaver/toothbrush charger

A fabulous bed & breakfast. The room was absolutely delightful with everything you could possible need: coffee machine, dressing gowns and slippers etc. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The owners could not have been more hospitable and the breakfast was excellent. We'll definitely be staying again!

Died and Gone to Heaven
This bed and breakfast which recently received its 5 star rating is OUT OF THIS WORLD! In a rural setting with hedgerow-sided country roads, Poole Farm is a GEM!!! Louise and Greg are the consummate hostess and host. They have thought of EVERYTHING....from fresh fruit, chocolates, and everything you need to brew coffee, tea, or hot chocolate (with cookies to compliment the hot drinks) in your room to terry cloth robes hanging on the door of the luxurious bathroom. The decor is stunning and includes a beautifully appointed "lounge" (think peaceful sitting room) and elegant dining room (think linen tablecloths and napkins). The breakfast includes a self serve smorgasbord which includes every fresh fruit you can imagine (and then some!), yogurt, meat, cheese, pastries, bread, cereal, granola, and at least 4 fruit juices AND THEN is followed by menu selections of hot dishes cooked by Louise, made to order for her guests. Greg is not officially a concierge, but should be considered one. He is full of tourist information, restaurant suggestions, etc, and thinks nothing of printing out directions from a trip planning website. Do not miss this gem.... you would likely pay 350 pounds per night for it if it were in London!

Poole Farm B & B is a must.
Louise and Greg are outstanding hosts and the breakfast is amazing. We would recommend this as not only a fantastic location, but also for the warmth and charm of the hosts and the place itself. Would love to return one day.
