The staff were excellent and very pleasant and accommodating. It was a great stopover place for one night. Breakfast was basic but very ample. Beds were great for sleep. Price was right

This little motel exceeded our expectations. Quaint, clean, and very comfortable, it was exactly what we needed for a short stay in Pendleton. Thoughtful touches made this motel better than your average chain hotel.

It was a pleasing surprise to find the room so quaint, quiet, comfortable, even though it was fairly small. Not your average local motel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely a great room for the a low price! At first we thought the nearby train would keep us awake but we only heard it once before falling asleep.

easy parking .too far from the main street. no place to eat within walking distance other than a burger shop

Old furnishings and crowded feel. Rooms very small right on top of each other… can hear everything next door. Decent enough for one night. Breakfast was cold items like yogurt, cereal, or you could toast bread. Help yourself style.

I liked that you could manage the heat well in the room. The bed was comfortable. It had a nice TV, microwave, coffee maker, frig. Shampoo and conditioner and soap available. Creamer and sugar for the coffee. Did have a Gideon Bible in the drawer and an extra blanket. It was nice.

We were just staying the night while on the road. It was good for that. I was surprised how early the town closed down on a Saturday night! Breakfast at the hotel started at 6. There was coffee, cereal, toast, bagels + cream cheese, yogurt, mini-muffins and granola bars. It was available at 6AM. That workout out for us because we needed to be on the road by 7. The room was heated and cooed by a fairly noisy window box.

Thr picture of the Rugged country Lodge, to me, was deceiving. It looks as though you drive from the road right in front of the motel. You don't. You come down either side of the street into the motel parking lot. My wife and I did enjoy our stary. Perfect room for us.

The rooms were clean and well kept, but the staff member who was taking care of the breakfast was nowhere to be found. Meanwhile many of the guest outside wondering what’s going on, and one gentleman even called the Management but no answer. Breakfast was supposed to be 7 o’clock and it ended up being at 8 o’clock. Others were trying to check out and didn’t know where to leave the keys, there was nobody in the front desk. Overall comfortable room but they need to work on their customer service and be on time.

Lovely, cozy, quaint. More detail to cleaning needed. Tv controllers (I deep cleaned myself). Floors. Hand prints on inside of door. I would def stay again tho.

There is a train that runs at least three times at night. It is across the road visible from our window, very loud. Otherwise great.

This hotel was very old, with green square tiles in the bathroom. However, it was spotless and well kept and the price was great for a few hours sleeping.
