My guests, that were going to stay here, couldn't come due to illness. I called the hotel when I was made aware, on the check-in date. They refused to cancel my reservation. They refused to make any allowance. The terms stated that cancelations & no-show would be charged ONE NIGHT'S stay. I was willing to pay that. The 2nd day of Reservation, they billed me for 3 nights & refused to work with me. Mr Patel blamed Expedia. Expedia said it was up to the hotel. Mr Patel could not show me any terms stating I would be responsible for the cost of all 3 nights.
Reservation was 7/2-7/5. I called the hotel the evening of 7/2. I called Expedia on 7/3. They contacted Mr Patel and he refused to refund any of the 3 nights. I went to hotel on 7/3 to speak to him in person. I asked him to please give me a break on the charges. Every time I asked a question, or requested written terms, he said "maam, you are not listening to me . . ." Eventually, he called me a "mot*er f*cker" stepped from behind the counter and shouted "get out of here, I don’t want to argue, I'll call the police." I told him to "please call the police." Then, he started ranting and yelling in my face. If this is how he treats a potential customer that he has scammed for over $300, imagine if you had a problem while staying there!
I called Expedia after I left. They were no help, because the hotel had to issue the credit. Expedia called them again & they still refused to credit any of the 3 nights that NOBODY stayed there.
