Room was nice. Breakfast good. Staff friendly. We arrived late and our room had chips on the floor by the bed. Too late for housekeeping to take care off. Too tired to mess with after arrival. Expressed to front staff upon checkout.

Bathroom needs updating. The curtain looked old. The shower was a tub converted to a shower. Poor work. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned. Check in staff were friendly.

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Alexandria was really great! It is very clean, comforting, and had everything I needed. They provided breakfast and did a nice happy hour. The staff was SO wonderful and went above and beyond. Their airport shuttle broke down and they found accommodations to get me to and from the airport safely and in a timely manner. Definitely recommend!

Not great services and booked my room to someone e
Booked a suite on Tuesday prior to stay on Saturday. When I got there I was told they were booked up and only had a double room. I had 4 kids with me. They front desk was extremely rude about it and we made a pallet on the floor with pillows for my son. Incredibly aggravated and will not be booking future softball trips there.

Great place to stay!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Check in was fast, room was clean with plenty of space. The bathroom had a huge shower that worked great. We only stayed one night but were very pleased and will definitely stay here again should there be a need to stay in Alexandria overnight.

OK Stay for a One Night Stay
We picked this hotel based on reviews but this place needs a little TLC & updating. I have found in my recent stays over the last few years that many of the Hampton Inns have dropped in value for what you pay. For this stay, however the front desk clerk was super friendly & very accompanied to our needs. Our one night stay here was fine for our situation, but the rooms smelled a little musty & needed a refresh.

At 10:45Pm at night - it took 20 minutes to get the phone answered to request a shuttle from the airport! The van that arrived was really filthy - has not been cleaned. When I checked in and noted the telephone issue, the clerk simply wasn't interested in it. The entire property is really worn and ratty looking - hallways, elevator, room. Had planned a second night but went to Holiday Inn instead. Much better. Would not recommend Hampton Inn at Alexandria to anyone.

We arrived at the hotel and were hopeful for a nice stay. We checked in and went up to our rooms. My mom walked into her room and it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous people. They had to go to three different rooms before finally finding a clean room. As my husband was helping my mom I walked into our bathroom- my shoes were literally sticking to the floor. I had to use most of our towels to put down just to walk into the bathroom. The inside of the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in awhile as it had they grayish black ring inside and the tub had pubic hairs in it- again after cleaning it I put a towel down to stand on, our feet were not touching anything in that tub. On checkout I informed the lady at the front desk and she stated they know the cleaning is terrible and they are working on trying to get it better. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

The property around this hotel is grown up with grass and weeds. The staff was not overly friendly upon check-in. It was not made clear that there would be NO housekeeping done in our room unless we specifically called the front desk to ask for clean towels and/or linens. The shower needed to be cleaned with scum remover on the door as it was caked up tremendously and the faucet was not secure in the wall. If you tried to adjust the water temp the whole plumbing was loose.

Disappointing
The lady that welcomed us was super sweet and helpful, she did a great job. The room was a disappointment though, it was dirty, not well maintained, the bed and pillows were not soft and fluffy like I’d expect from a Hampton Inn and the cleaning crew needs to do a much better job all around.

Front desk staff - kind and welcoming
Everyone from start to finish was really nice! I checked in late and it went very smoothly. The next morning I realized I forgot toothpaste. The hotel has a small stocked store. I went there and found that they indeed had toothpaste! When I went to pay the front desk clerk, offered me a miniature tube to save me from buying a full size. I found that to be such a kind gesture, and really created a nice experience for me. Breakfast buffet was well stocked, great coffee! I did have to spend a lot to get the mile from the airport to hotel. Wish the hotel had a shuttle that was able to pick up later in the evening

It appeared the floors hadn’t been swept/vacuumed, bathroom had hair in the sink and in the counter. The hallways were nice and cool but our ac never really cooled our room. Also one small bar of soap to wash hands and shower with. Was disappointed.

Beautiful Stay at the Hampton Hotel.
The room was nice, neat and clean. The reception was very nice they even made feesh cookies for the patrons to eat. Coffee is ready all day with a nice selection, tea bags are offered as well. The breakfast was nice and there was a big selection. The beds and pillows were comfy and the room was quiet. Sorry I deleted my photos after I completed my Google review. The room was very nice though. If you want the room serviced everyday be sure to ask for it.

Kudos to Hampton Inn And Suites, Alexandria, LA
Our three night stay at Hampton Inn and Suites , Alexandria LA, was excellent. The building is slightly “tired” and could benefit from some updating, but the accommodations were comfortable and serviceable. The staff was very cordial and helpful (Thank you, Jennifer), especially in their warm welcome and attention to our young dog. Their mettle was tested when the power went out during the rush of checking out one morning, making the elevators and all computers inoperable. All staff worked together to overcome the problems for the 20-30 minutes the power was out. Also impressive were the wonderful complimentary breakfast and the Happy Hour (complimentary beer, wine, finger food) every Monday-Thursday, benefits not offered in other Hampton facilities on our week-long southern tour. We’ll definitely return.

Hotel desk clerk (PM) was very friendly, polite & energetic. Pleasant check in, couldn’t have asked for better! Room was VERY disappointing, not vacuumed, sheets were still dirty with what looked like food crumbs/spills from previous guests, which really freaked me out as it was obvious the bed had not been changed. The shampoo & conditioner bottles were “half” full, which means they were not swapped out for new ones & no soap bar could be found. Window to view outside was completely un-viewable as it was too dirty to see through, had not been wiped down in what looks like months. Staff was friendly, but I would not stay there again, especially for the money I paid.
