We were not allowed to check in. I asked for clarification of why the self-professed manager on duty, Sadie, was asking for my home address. She immediately became defensive, insulting, and hostile. I turned to my husband and asked if perhaps we should stay elsewhere or even head home after this awful treatment, at which point Sadie interrupted, saying, "I think you should go home." We left, and checked into an excellent hotel elsewhere. When I called OYO to demand a refund, Sadie lied to them and claimed that I had refused to give her my state-issued ID, for which she never asked. I need my money back, and I expect Expedia to help me make that happen immediately.

Staff was wonderful with my late check-in instructions, the parking was very close to the rooms. Unfortunately, our room had a wall thermostat and a wall heater, neither of which worked and we slept bundled up. There were holes in the walls near outlets and heaters and some outlets did not work. Otherwise, the room was clean and convenient!

This is my second stay here at City center.Both units I have been in have been suprisingly clean and beds are really comfortable. This unit has a little moisture damage going on in the bath room,nothing overwhelming.

Stayed here for the OGC. Very walkable location to businesses and beach. Rooms were clean and location was quiet.

I am a returning guest. It’s exactly as we expected. The check in process was easy. The ladies at the check in desk were both friendly and efficient.

I made a reservation through Expedia. The property office was closed after previously stated it would be open for 2 more hours. It was terrible weather and we had to drive to other property to check in and get key. When we get to other property there was a sign on door and office was closed for at least 30 minutes. Office person arrives and was not friendly to begin with then said she could not let us stay because I live 20 miles north. No locals allowed apparently. This is not stated on any property website or booking companies sites. My partner was in town and can’t stay with me so we needed a room. There was one other customer in the whole motel. At least let us pay a higher rate. Seems like you’d want all the money you can get in the off season. She agreed to refund us but we have limited money and the refund won’t process for 7-10 days! I will not be recommending this property to my visitors from out of state. Ebb Tide Inn cost the same and we had view of ocean and fireplace. No issues with being “local”. I will be recommending them.

Very comfortable and large space with two large bedrooms and well stocked kitchen. Only negative was arriving to see a notice that to register and get keys you had to drive to another location. It would have been helpful if that was communicated before we arrived at the site. Otherwise we had a great stay

Very bad experience! 1) there is no hospitality staff onsite. One has to drive 10 blocks to a different motel to check in. If one needs something, there is no one onsite to help. 2) the shower drain cover was loose and could injure your foot. 3) the floor was sticky. 4) The TV volume did not work, randomly turning itself up too loud and then down too soft to hear, rinse and repeat the entire time. 5) the toilet seat was THE cheapest available on the market. I think there was a crack in the toilet bowl. 6) The room lights do not work with the light switches (one must stand on the bed and pull the chains on the ceiling fan and light). 7) the sink drain plug did not work properly. 8) the view out the window was a fence 6' away. And, while the motel cannot be held responsible, 9) we were awakened this morning by a neighbor guest vomiting, retching, moaning, and acting as if he might die. On the positive side, the motel is only two blocks away 0from the main tourist area, and only 4 blocks from the beach. And I slept like a log the first night (when the neighboring guest did not sound to be dying!); low priced. They won't do it, likely, but this was bad enough to earn a comped night at a different OYO site.

It was very close to the convention center which is what I needed and walking distance to the main strip with food and shopping. Bed was very comfy room is very small and not a lot of insulation between rooms so little noisy but otherwise if you just need a place to lay your head it works. The only thing I would say is not knowing ahead of time that you have to check in at their sister location first so back and forth little frustrating otherwise it worked for what we needed.

This may be the most disgusting motel I've ever seen in my life. I know that sounds extreme, but, I'm not kidding. Okay? Checked in, went into the room for maybe 10 minutes and then decided to get another hotel in the area. It's cheap for a reason.

There's no office on sight. No phone number listed to call. Our sink was plugged & leaking. They didn't fix the plugged sink. We couldn't get extra blankets, then the power was out for hours & no phone in room. Steps were icy along with the whole sidewalk from our room & no one came & salted them nor checked on anyone. I had to take care of it myself. It was the worst place I've ever stayed with no customer service nor anyone on sight. We had to drive 1/2 mile to another office to get any help. It deserves zero stars. I would without a doubt suggest never staying there.

This hotel was conveniently located right in the heart of downtown Seaside. I was able to park here and walk everywhere. The beach is right up the street about three blocks. Shopping is right across the street including lots of dining options. The room was a little cramped though and it would’ve been nice to have a bigger vanity in the bathroom and a chair and table in the living area.

Motels good locations good. Stayed multiple times however this time around we were supposed to be staying and the day before my vacation oyo cancelled my booking that I had booked a little over 2 months in advance…. They weren’t able to get me into a room at that motel due to be it being booked.

This OYO city centre motel overall is recommended for those who travel to Oregon west coast in the Cannon Beach area. We booked in the winter, and its staff was friendly & helpful, and the room amenities were with quite good condition. Quite suitable for a short duration of stay for a small family. It also needs some small improvements, e.g., there is no heating vent in the bathroom and therefore it can be cold in the bathroom during the winter season.

Great location, but no onsite staff. Wifi didn’t work, which was unfortunate being Christmas and wanting to talk to family. Plumbing sounds from the next room over we’re VERY loud - the showers are super loud! It was fine for a cheap one night stay to be near the coast

i’m not to sure what’s going on but usually when i stay here it’s always good and clean but this time was such a disappointment. i found hair on the side of the sink and there were 2 HUGE flies in the room that took me an hour to kill since i couldn’t get them with the high ceilings.

The check in employee was super nice and efficient. Took me maybe 2 minutes. Just an incrdible bargain for a nice, clean room that is warm (Winter time), close to the beach and the stores/restaurants/activities. Some of the compaints I see on here are pretty weak. Worth every penny and a third of some beachfront prices. Great place to sleep and rest. Thanks much!

i like that the room is personal for 1 but still cozy for 2. very simple room, i would say though the window curtains need to be less see through cause the people staying next to me kept looking in or trying every time they passed my room which was awkward. Also housekeeping, please have them inspect the units better! i found 4 spiders inside my room, 2 in the bathroom and one under the bed in a corner when i was gonna plug my phone by the lamp and the last one on the ceiling, and lastly dusting hasn’t been done in a while since i could see cob web handing from the ceiling from every corner of the room. Not complaining don’t get me wrong since i stay here once or 3 times a week just depending on my job, just a heads up mainly for housekeeping

The property's condition was fine. Suggest let us know ahead when we booked that we had to check in at another location. It was unsettling after travelling a whole day to find a note dated 10/2021 at the locked office door to check in at another location. I also received a text to call the office in 30 minutes or my reservation will be cancelled. With internet spotty on the road, it was scary to see that when I arrived at the property. Fortunately it was not true.

I can't use foul language on this site!
The bed was hard and uncomfortable. It is obvious that the housekeeping staff was not thorough in cleaning the room, for I found a spoon behind the night stand when I went to plug my phone charger in. The walls are paper thin, for I could hear the neighbors knocking boots.

This is a pretty nice place once I found it. Travelocity didn't bother to tell me that I had to go to a different place a mile away to check in and get my key. Also their sign can't be seen in the daylight so it was hard to find! Some of the lights didn't work and the coffee pot quit but the man who was cleaning rooms was very nice and got me a different coffee pot. The woman who checked me in at the other motel was very nice also.

We love staying here when we visit Seaside. It's so close to everything. Only thing this time was the plug in in the bathroom didn't work. Other than that it was great. All the necessities and comfortable room.

The shower had hair from the last person who stayed there on the shower walls. Quite a few cable channels were not available that were listed on the card next to the bed as being available. The outside of the property has some damaged siding and the overhang above the room's door had a damaged ceiling. The property was recently rehabbed but already looking a bit disheveled.
