Thank you for staying at Columbia Cliff Villas. We are sorry that your stay was not the quality we typically deliver.Due to our separate buildings we have several free parking areas. I am sorry if you weren't shown them and will remind our front desk staff about showing that to guests in the future.We do not store a luggage cart outside, but our friendly front office staff also serves as our bell staff and is more than happy to assist with luggage, or bring a cart from our dry garage area if requested. Hopefully the free upgrade to the full river view room still made for a good stay this last weekend. If you are able to visit again, we will make sure to have your room away from the cliff edge so the occasional trains are not a bother.

Typically that only takes a couple of minutes but sounds like it was a bit more time consuming that day. Hopefully you were able to enjoy some complimentary coffee, water or tea while you waited.I am happy to hear that your stay was comfortable.

If you were to stay with us in the future, we have several room types with river views and elevator access. Please let us know and we are happy to help you select those.All of our rooms are privately owned and furnished by the owners. While most have the same type of mattress, the room type that you were in does have Tempurpedic mattress. Most guests really enjoy them as they are designed to give with your body to provide support and comfort. Again, I am sorry it was not comfortable for you. Hopefully you still enjoyed your visit to Hood River.

Thank you for your feedback Debra. We do offer a variety of room types. All with varying sizes and views. The images and descriptions are on all websites, including the third party sites. We do not select room types for guests but we do offer non-view, partial view, and full view options on all third party sites. I am sorry if those were not available for you when you selected your room. We do offer ample free parking for the limited number of rooms that we have. Most parking is closer to the rooms than most hotels. Hopefully you were able to take advantage of one of our three outdoor sitting areas during your stay. If you are ever able to stay again we would love to help you select a room more suited to your needs.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. The Roku smart TV that was in your room does not have the greatest remote. Unfortunately that is the only remote that they make.We do have one building on property with an elevator. The rooms are marketed as stair access only. If you give us another chance we can certainly assist you in choosing a room with an elevator access.
