Not up to any expectation.
Ligjts in room were poor. Only 1 working bulb out of 4. Constant flasing by another. No milk cartons, but tea & coffee was in room. Smelt of stale smoke. No parking provided although website said it was. So had to pay for on street parking.

DO NOT BOOK!
I booked a stay at plaza. When I arrived no one answered the door. They never answered their phone landline or mobile. They charged me for a stay I never got to check in to. I contacted them everyday and no answer. Do not waste your money do not stay here!

Stayed 1 night here. The room was on the 2nd level of a three level building with a view of buildings. The tiniest room I have ever seen. The bathroom looked freshly updated. Smelly room with no less then four medium length human hairs smothered on the table. The sheets and towels were clean and the water got hot really quick. The electric kettle worked well with free coffee & tea provided. There were built-in USB chargers. The TV worked good with lot's of channel avail. The not so good bits: In addition to the stink the Wi-Fi just wasn't working. The room was incredibly warm and it wasn't coming from the heater. Had to open the window which didn't really vent that well. It was 5c outside and even with the window open it was hard to get it below 27c in there. Had to wash the two coffee mugs and spoons. No water glasses provided. No mini refrigerator. No room for much of anything.

The location was good with easy access to London and transport. The staff were friendly. The room was very small for a family of 4, the beds too small for tall people, lumpy and very uncomfortable. No storage, no hairdryer, noniron etc. Extremely basic and room was unbearably hot. For the price it is ok for a very short stay.

The hotel location was good, very close to shops, restaurants, buses and underground. Reception was friendly Room disappointed although the receptionist said he was putting us in a bigger room (it was a family room). It was in the basement, we went past staff rooms and the corridor had eggs and boxes around. The room was nice and big but had a horrible smell, it was cold, could not get radiators on and when we had a shower, the shower head dropped off. Beds hard, no duvet or blankets, blankets were on top of a rack and they looked stained. However it was cheap and ok for just one night if you need to get a room in a hurry.

Ich kann nur sagen, katastrophal!!! Das Familienzimmer ist nicht zu empfehlen. Dreckig, Heizungsausfall ( uns wurde ein Heizungslüfter zur Verfügung gestellt....., keine Handtücher, Fenster undicht, der Herr an der Rezeption war so gut wie nie zu erreichen. Normalerweise sollte man sein Geld zurück vordern.

Room was tiny could barely move in it. No place for my BBC suitcase had to put on an end table and live out my suitcase no place for clothes. End table draws were full of sheets. Bathroom was very tiny even for a small person. Sit on toilet and sink was hitting the side of my body and towel holder hitting on other side. Shower very small barely get in it

Disappointed in the size of the room I stayed in another room here for three days was more than double the size of this moment did have to double beds in it. Decided to extend my stay which cost me $7 more And the room was like 70% smaller than the room I was previously in. There was no place to put my suitcase. No place to put the towels that you left me other than on my bed. The bathroom your wedged in between the sink and some kind of thing hanging on the wall but I guess it’s for towels but They can’t fit on them. I’m trying to go to the bathroom and this towel rack is hitting against my side In the sink is hitting against the other side of me I paid more for this room and I did for the room with the double bed in this room you can barely move in. They should not be renting out this wrong or if they do they should rent it for a lot less than what they charged me. This unfortunately will make me think twice about coming here again. It’s a clean place but this accommodation is not good for anyone. The room number is 30. There is an end table in my room but the dryer is loaded with sheets and towels so how am I supposed to use it

Handy location for what I wanted However, only one pillow, asked for additional and told no Breakfast eggs and toast, poor and rude service, kitchen roll for napkins, cartons of juice on tables! Hotel was damp and beds were filthy

Cheap and cheerful
For the money, it was perfectly adequate. We needed to be near Hammersmith and it was a ten minute walk to the tube in either direction. Room could’ve done with a lick of paint and newer furniture, just a spruce up really The beds were clean and comfortable but we didn’t Realise there were blankets on the shelf and we really could’ve done with knowing that rather than seeing them the next morning after shivering all night. The bathroom was beautifully done and in good working order. Breakfast was fine, no complaints. All in all I Would definitely stay there again for the money paid.

My Stay at the Plaza Hotel in Shepherd's Bush
I had a great stay at the Plaza Hotel. The hotel manager Jay was very accommodating and nice! There is a Sainsbury's local just across the street which is quite convenient, and the Shepherd's Bush Tube station is only a 7 minute walk from the hotel. The only detractor was that I didn't have much internet access in my room during the stay, but in the lobby it was quite fast. Because of the nice atmosphere and the friendly staff, I would certainly stay here again!

Should have stayed in an Airbnb
There is no lift so I had to bring up my heavy luggage up the narrow stairway up to the third floor by myself. The room is very small and there is no way to turn on the heater so it was cold in the room. Also, the toilet was not properly cleaned so I had to flush it before using to since someone had used it before me and didn’t flush. I could have stayed in an Airbnb for the same price for 2 nights not just one and with a better room.

Hotel was in a very convenient location for me to travel around London - even with underground closures there was plenty of bus alternatives to get around easily. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They let me check in hours early and are very flexible about that which is great after an overnight flight. Breakfast was fine - but 1 person trying to do eggs and cook for a dozen people was too much. They should just do some hard boiled eggs and meats along with the other choices and leave it at that. The single room was extremely small, and facing the road so the noise was too much and was 24/7. the bathroom layout was the worst, I had to squeeze by the sink to get to either the toilet or the shower. It was clean but way too cramped. The pictures on the site are really not accurate. only service issue was having to repeatedly as for an extra towel and something for the floor in the bathroom so I didn't slip. Each day they would take all 3 and only leave me 1 so I had to ask again. would recommend if you want a good location and less expensive option - but be aware as a single the room is not very comfortable - if you can afford a double I would do it.

Good for the price and great surroundings!
I needed a cheap but cheerful place to get my head down for a few nights and was starting to give up hope until I saw the reviews for this place. After a warm welcome, I found myself in a very small but adequate attic room. Comfy bed with clean sheets, a tiny but well-equipped and clean bathroom, a fridge, a kettle, a fan, a TV and sockets with USB outlets built in. On the second day I was moved to a bigger room (I didn't even ask, they offered) which was pretty much the same story. There was evidence of some damp in the corner but the lack of mould and a damp smell made me think it had been addressed and just needed a going over. The windows in this room could also do with a clean but the rest was spotless! Breakfast was sparse but adequate. Wi-Fi was reasonably quick and stable, which is rare for hotel Wi-Fi! Nearby there are some great places to eat, a Sainsbury's over the road if you want to get stuff in and a reasonably good pub is right next door. It's also a short walk from three tube stations and has good bus links, too. All thing considered, the Plaza Hotel is good value for money. If you want a place to crash that's reasonably priced, clean and warm then I recommend it.

Worse hotel ever
Awful room. The carpet was dirty, mattress was old and lumpy. And to top it off there was a mouse in the room running around & scratching all night. Could not sleep. Hotel manager was not around in the morning and tried to call him several times. Awful service. Do not stay here.

Pleased I Booked
I had the usual dilema after reading a few duff reviews - glad I did as it's completely re-furbished with new carpets, bathrooms (see photo) and decoration. Fridge in the room which was handy and a nice welcome. Large TV not one of tiny ones that most places have. No noise at all from other rooms but it's worth noting that the hotel is on a busy road and if you have the window open you will definitely need ear plugs - with the window closed it's fine though. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment but it looked ok with a nice selection on the buffet.

Don't stay here
No one was at the reception and tbey don't pick up the phone. I wouldnt recommend this place. Don't waste your time or money. Poor customer service from hotels.com

Good service and good for a short stay
For a short stay it’s pretty good. We stayed there for 3 days and the lady who prepared the breakfast was very kind and super friendly. Breakfast was okay. Two types of eggs, 2 toasts and coffee and juice. The room was okay, clean, they didn’t change sheets during the 3-day stay, but they did change the towels daily. The room has a flat screen TV and a washroom. We loved the shower, plenty of water and good space. The beds were a double-size and not super comfortable, but for the price is okay, also for a short stay is good and family friendly. We were given a key to the front door and to the room and the area is quiet and close to everything.

Spędziliśmy w hotelu 4 noce. Pokój był wygodny i czysty. Była w nim mała ale ładna łazienka, wygodne łóżka, lodówka, telewizor. Pokój był codziennie sprzątany oraz codziennie wymieniano ręczniki. Śniadania były proste ale dobre. Za tą cenę jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Dużym plusem jest bliskość metra - 10 minut pieszo do najbliższej stacji.

En lisant divers commentaires après avoir réservé, je m’attendais à pire. Hôtel plutôt propre, petit dej simple (pain toasté, confiture/nutella, fruits, céréale), rue passante mais après tout on est en ville.. Bref rien de dramatique, hôtel plutôt agréable (il y a cette mieux, mais c’est plus cher!). En plus le métro est à 5min à pied, et il y a plein de resto dans ce secteur

Väl värt pengarna.
Hotellet överträffade våra förväntningar. Personalen var trevliga och gjorde sitt yttersta för att vi skulle trivas. Busshållplatsen var precis utanför dörren och tre busstop senare var vi vid Westfield. Frukosten var god och vi stod oss bra på den. Badrummet med dusch och toalett var riktigt fräscht. Hit kommer vi gärna fler gånger.

Beau séjour mémorable
Belle accueil,hôtel vieillot et besoin d’un peu de rafraîchissement mais serviettes propres à chaque jour petit déjeuner satisfaisant .Bus facilité d’acc Pour Londres,seulement 30minutes d’autobus selon itinéraire et selon l’heure.Dépaysement pour architecture et automobile de l’autre sens et un anglais avec un accent différent.Accès facile pour épicerie et très bonne petite pizzéria tout près.
