We recently had a family gathering at The Molloy and were quite pleased with our stay. The manager and staff were accomodating and made us feel very welcome.
The rooms were a bit small and dated, but they were clean and the beds were comfortable, and we spent most of our time outside anyways.
There is a pool onsite, and a very large area with hammocks, grills and a pavilion. There was plenty of room for games, such as corn hole etc and the kids enjoyed all the room to run around. We had about 60 -65 people including kids and never felt crowded.
The property is directly located on the beach, which is about a 200 yard sandy stroll. The Molloy provides umbrellas and beach chairs. It was cool seeing dolphins and manatee swim by and the kids enjoyed finding shells and clams.
If you do not need a five star resort, and enjoy Florida for the outdoors and beaches, value hospitality and close proximity to shopping, dining and entertainment without being "in the heart of it", The Molloy is worth checking out.
