한국 스텝분들이 계셔서 아늑했어요. 역에서 좀 많이 올라가야하는, 한 15분 정도 걸러가야하는데 이건 뭐 어디든 그럴듯요

걸어가기 힘든 호텔
일단 숙소가 역에서 너무 멀고 언덕에 있어 힘들다 그리고 커피포트가 일층에 있는데 물 받다가 너무 더러워서 청소하고 사용함 청결에 문제가 있어서 비추함

불편한 위치와 불편한 숙박
뱅엔역에서 호텔까지 오르막길로 15-20분, 호텔에서 역으로 내려올때는 10분 소요. 리셉션에 사람이 없어 전화해야함. 방과 욕실이 좁음. 객실은 마루위에 카펫을 깔아서 다른 객실의 끼익 소리와 욕실 물소리가 들림. 창밖은 아주 조용하고 불빛이 없음. 방에서 빙하가 보임. 욕실은 온수가 잘 나오지 않음. 가서 샤워함. 아침식사는 7:30분인데 삷은 달걀, 빵, 햄, 요구르트, 시리얼 등이 있음. 맛은 별로임. 근처 수퍼는 뱅엔역에 coop 6시에 문닫음. 방에서 wifi도 됬다 안됬다 함.

Great location for skiing (ski in/ski out). Hotel a little dated. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Not nice
They put us in a stinky, moldy room and told us twice during check-in that we could get another room for 20 CHF more. We did not. This room was very bad.

Didnt Have the opportunity to check in and Even though i emailed same night To get refund of the booking i didnt get Any anwser. This Hotel is not possible to go to by car, i think this should be stated Very clearly for everone that want to book something on short notice!

Well, the property is very old and the owners have done some improuvements but they could do more if they wanted, simple stuff like painting the metal frames on the balcony, fix the shower support, which won't cost much and they could raise the interest for the people....but thay are just lazy. I wish I could give more than 3.9, but I can't....maybe when they will put a TV in the room I will do that. Per total, it is ok to spend few nights there.

Dear Guest Thank you very much for your honest review and thank you for staying with us! Our building is over a 100 years old and to renew a building like that takes a lot. Also some parts of our hotel are culture protected which makes a renovation even harder. We didn't put any TV's in the room as it doesn't fit with the old style charme of our hotel. In our room description it tells that we have no TV in any rooms. Also our Hotel is a simple but nice and charming bed and breakfast for people who like to travel a bit cheaper in expensive Switzerland. I'm sure there are hotels with tv's ect in Wengen where you pay a bit more per night but have the facility you want. Anyway we are very thankful for your honest review and will for sure try to improve our self in the best way possible. Best wishes from sunny Wengen! Your Brunner team

Es ist wunderschön gelegen mit einer traumhaften aussicht, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es war richtig nostalgisch, da das Haus ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Prima locatie, vlak naast de piste ('s ochtends skien naar de lift, 's avonds terug naar het hotel). Goed ontbijtbuffet met voldoende keuze. Het hotel is stijlvol maar wel oud en een beetje gehorig. Wij hadden een vrij kleine 2persoons kamer die net ruim genoeg was door een praktischs inrichting, met balkon en uitzicht op de bergen, en met een nogal krakende vloer (niet handig als je 's nachts naar de wc moet).

Happy Hideaway
Brunner was a great base for our exploration of Wengen and vicinity. Very quiet, comfortable, and satisfactory in all regards. The staff was friendly. And helpful in accommodating our special needs.

Warm and friendly
If you are looking for a fancy type hotel, hotel brunner is not the place for you. However hotel brunner certainly rates high with me. Economical and warm and friendly staff willing to help you as needed. They stayed open late for me to pick me up at train station at midnight because my earlier train had been canciled. Also breakfast was included and coffee and fea available all day. Also had use of their refrigeratir and microwave.

Out of the way stay.
Difficult to realize that hotel was well of the beaten path. Wengen like zermatt is a car free town and only accessible by a 15 min train ride($30 extra for the 4 of us) us a 15 minute walk(in the rain). Plus parking at the train station it turned out to be an expensive stay. Hotel(residence? Not sure why signs say hotel but identified as a residence, perhaps it doesnt qualify anymore) room was average, floor squeaked waking family during night and as usual in Europe they have no AC or at least screens on the windows to keep out bugs. Meh.

We try to give our guests all the information before arrival so our guests can have a easy travel to our town. It's always very important to read the E-mails the hotels send you before arrival so our guests know how to travel the easiest way and know all the extra charges they have to pay like train, car parking ect. We are a car free mountain town and unfortunately most hotels are not in the town center. It's an adventure and it provides some short walking but in the end our guests are able to see the beauty of our unique old fashion mountain town. We also provide shuttle service for a extra charge of 20.- as Wengen is a car free town and we try to keep the environment clean. We anyway hope you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful mountain town and hope to welcome you soon again! All the best from your Brunner team

Amazing Place
We spent 4 days at the hotel and we are glad we selected this hotel. Such beautiful views from the room (room 16), extremely helpful staff and decent facilities. The place is not that far from the station, just a bit elevated but was manageable for us. In the breakfast we have some devent options. They do have some lunch and dinner options, so check it out when you are there. We also enjoyed the lobby areas which had provisions for hot water, microwave, cuttlery and fridge. There was a good mixture of staff from different countries. Like wise, it was also good to mingle with vacationers from other countries. Truely a great cross cultural exchange.

Nice view !!!
Very nice view! You can see the mountains when you wake up. I enjoyed staying in the garden. The room is clean but the toilet is a bit dark. It’s also okay for us. We have to walk about 15 mins to reach the hotel, if the hotel can provide pick-up service, that will be perfect.

If you go here, book a room on the 3rd(top) floor, because the floorboards creak and sqeak a lot, and you can hear every step taken on the floor above you. Besides that, the hotel is really good! The location and view are really nice and the breakfast (included) is tasty. I stayed here for almost two weeks and used the hotel mostly for sleeping as I explored the surrounding areas by day. The mountains are just breathtaking.

This is a property conveniently located between Interlaken and Jungfraujoch. The front yard is facing Jangfrau with an spectacular view all day long. The hospitality of the hotel staff is excellent, and the meal service is tasty and affordable. In the front of the hotel, there is a trail you can walk along to the other end of the town of Wengen and enjoy an amazing view of Jungfrau from different angles.

There is one main problem with the rooms: there is a obtrusive, penetrant and permanent smell of plastics in the rooms. It gave me a headache within 10 minutes. I asked for a new room but the second room had the exact same smell. It comes from the wall paper between the bath room and the room, which is a plastics wall paper that emits some aldehydes or similar, producing this strong smell. I was only able to sleep with the balcony door wide open (not an option in winter time). Otherwise rooms are basic (not a problem for me) and you can hear the people walk around in the neighboring rooms (many other comments about this). The service is friendly, but they were not able to do anything about the smell...

This place was amazing. Everyone who worked there was so nice and they made you feel at home. They even made us a lunch one day since we had to go on a hike before the breakfast started. Although the hotel is on the outskirts of town and requires a decent uphill walk, it’s worth it for the price and the view. The free breakfast every morning was good too. I would definitely stay again.

Overall great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit outdated but it is charming as a result. It is also very convenient to ski back at the end of the day as it's on the slope. I really enjoyed the special Sri Lankan curry made by the cook. Very authentic taste! I would definitely come back on my next visit to Wengen.

Charming, a lil run down, but quiet & on the slope
Older hotel and a bit run-down (e.g., concave mattresses and plastic flowers), but super clean. A few minutes walking from the train, but it's right on the slope. Their bar is open until 7 and their restaurant serves a limited (but tasty) menu 7-9. I'd definitely recommend, but particularly for the price, I think they could use some updates.
