staff is nice, however no parking at the motel, they have only less then 10 spaces, so we have to use other office around the hotel for parking, long walk... they dont automatic clean your room unless you call to ask, little pricey for a old motel, not recommended unless you have no other options

The whole property was amazing, being built inside a railroad repair building. The railroad tracks were still there in the floor. The building was attached to another and was adjacent to other properties of the same vintage. While the pool and main floor areas were quite loud, our room was very quiet. The only real negative about this stay was the extreme dearth of convenient parking available.

Beautiful property. Love everything about it, except parking. Not enough parking. The staff was great redirecting us to park on the side of the building. Unfortunately this space was smaller then the parking lot and filled up quick. I don’t wanna know where I’d have to go if I didn’t get a spot luckily. Again, everything else including staff would definitely make me stay here again!

Neat remodel of an old train station look. Breakfast was very good with waffles, eggs, oatmeal, cereal and bread/muffins, yogurt and fruit with juices, milk, coffee.

This hotel is constructed inside an old Train Station. Very nice, nee rooms inside an old exterior with RR tracks still embedded in common areas on the BW Como Park.

Overall nice experience. It was quiet and clean. A good place to stay if you have a couple of dogs. Nice unique look to the building which is always a bonus.

It was ok, 2nd time staying here to visit son at college. Both times room was never cleaned, trash too full. If we have to ask for this service we should be told that at check in.

The hotel was nice. Very cool historic building. The one thing that was really weird is you had minimal control of the temperature in your room? The lowest the room thermostat could be set was 68°. Kind of warm for sleeping.

Very nice hotel. Front desk was kind enough to change our room so my handicapped husband didnt have far to walk. Pet friendly.

This entire property is a unique and historic property, and our canine traveling companion is allowed to stay with us makes it even better. We stay here frequently and never tire of the location. It is very convenient to visit our daughter living on UM campus.

Hotel was good for the price, the curtains in the room were just filthy, but otherwise the rooms were clean. The parking isn’t ideal, not much space for the size of the hotel, breakfast was good but no one kept up with the garbage, so they were over flowing. Overall it was a decent hotel, I’d stay there again.

The hotel is remodelled from a beautiful old train building. The old brick and Timbers give it a heritage building feel. Very cool! The staff were very friendly & informative. Street & area, hotel & suites were very clean. My only two complaints would be the parking wasn’t great. Very small main parking and about a block away was reserve parking for hotel. The mattresses were terrible! Seemed very old, sagged into to the center. Wasn’t a good sleep and sore back in the morning.

We liked the concept of re-purposing the space. However, we were disappointed in many things. it was not made clear on the website that the “bar” (such as it was) has very limited days/hours . The shower had no curtain or door. Many things were “out of order” at the breakfast station and the breakfast options were bland. It feels like more could be done to make this an appealing place to stay.

Michigan at Minnesota Weekend Trip
Came into town for the Michigan vs Minnesota trip. This place was perfect for our stay. Only a few miles (4ish) from the stadium. Had Lime scooters in the area to ride to the stadium. Overall a great place for our stay.

Stayed on family vacation. Jericho was at the desk to check us in. He was very professional and informative. His costumer service was fantastic! Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and hot each morning; I will say that the area is a little small when there is an eventstaying there (wedding). The pool was ok. I think it was a little cold to be a heated pool, but it worked. I do think swimming in the evening or cloudy days, the pool area is a little dark with having a kid in the pool. There were times when I went to the front desk for something and had to wait a bit. It was never a super long time, but long enough to begin getting fustrated. However, I feel like with staff shortages, this is pretty normal. Overall the staff were helpful and nice. Parking... the parking lot is small and tight. The overflow lot is not that far away, but it is something to be aware of. I wish there was more of a sidewalk to and from, with having a child walk with us.

Overall Happy With our Room
The hotel was perfectly comfortable. The refrigerator in the room had some issues and didn't want to close also didn't sit level as something underneath was broken. The phone was unplugged and when we plugged it back in to call the front desk it rang and rang with no answer. The TV had to be switched to the HDMI input every time we turned it on which took us a minute to figure out what the deal was. Minor things that could easily be adjusted by the hotel to make the gusts stay a little easier. Overall we were happy with our stay.

We could not reach any staff at 8pm to check in. We could not find a place to park our vehicle. Finally staff showed up at front desk, and checked us in. When we opened the door to our room, it was already occupied. We went back to the front desk and were told they were over booked, and there was no rooms left to stay. We walked 2 blocks back to our vehicle in the rain, and searched for another hotel. We found one about half hour drive, but at least they took care of us
