This is a charming/funky place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. But it is a problem that the restaurant is not open every day. Torrey is very isolated, and the dining/food purchase options are limited, so guests depend on the restaurant, which was closed one of the days we stayed there.

Nice size rooms, working TV. Beds were poorly made when we walked in. The young man at front desk was nice. But Your Shower WATER PRESSURE was TERRIBLE!!! A little trickle coming out of the shower head was aweful ! Glad I only spent One night there and didn’t spend three nights like we did at the nice Motel6 in Moab Capitol Reef Inn - you Really Need to hire a great plumber and get these Pipes fixed!!! Won’t go back to your hotel until then!

Great place for the price. Enjoyed the hot tub. The towels and shampoo were very nice. Also enjoyed that they had a nice brand of tea instead of the cheap stuff you normally see in hotels.

Upon walking into our room there were flies everywhere. 1 or 2 flies, ok.. but there were at least 30 flies in our room. when we raised concern we were offered fly tape. We ended up scrambling to find another place to stay at night which was no easy task. We received a refund. It’s terrible because out of all the places we have stayed on our trip. This one was the one we were most excited for. It showed quaint mom and pop vibes. We were so disappointed.

Room was full of flies when we arrived, we were asked if we wanted a fly swatter, ended up with a sticky fly strip. Bathroom floor tile all broken and uneven. Only breakfast available. Electrical outlets so worn the plug kept dropping out. Bathroom door doesn’t close and front door did not seal.

The bed had crumbs and appeared to have been unchanged from prior use. Plumbing antiquated including water on the floor around the toilet and a shower that was incapable of mixing very hot and very cold water - you could get one or the other.

Disappointing
The place is old, our room was ok but towel came with stains. Wooden floor could be noisy if you have little kids. Cafe no longer serves dinner now, and none of the children friendly facilities you see on the photos exist. We understand it's easy to forget updating the info online, but wish we knew this before booking.

Clean and comfy
Decent, clean room. A little outdated, but big and comfy beds. Cafe was closed for the week, but the Mexican restaurant next door was very good.

NO way to stay there again, NEVER!
Our stay was disappointing - room smells bad, towels not clean, carpet dirty, tv connection is poor, you can hear the other room noise. The front desk staff was not friendly. On top of all these issues, still charged RESORT FEE , like a nice and clean hotel.

What are you sure this is us? We have hardwood floors, and we don't charge any resort fee, just the motel cost.

The rooms are super cute. My only comment is that the floor was not super clean. The rooms need a doormat inside so we can wipe our feet and avoid making a mess in the room when it's raining.

Great jacuzzi! Property is old but still clean and unique! Unfortunately the cafe is closed and they were still advertising it was open and not much in town so pack a lunch. Gentleman and front desk was very friendly but need to use deodorant, the fowl BO smell all but made me sick my guest had to leave while I finished the check in. All is all not a bad place if ya just need to crash for a night, not long term recommended

The room is spacious, but there is a big gap in the door so bugs are free to come in. There are bugs. The bed is very soft. If two people sleep on one bed, one would wake up if the other moves. Also, the price you see is for one person. If you have more than one person, you pay $15 more.

Nice simple place with good food
This was a nice basic accomodation. The people were all nice, and the food at the cafe was very good. We had dinner and breakfast. Our little dog loved it as well, and $5 for a pet fee is nothing, (though they should add it to their website).

We've stayed at this hotel a few times now. It's in a great location for visiting Capitol Reef. The restaurant is nice. The rooms are a bit dated but are clean and spacious. All in all it's a great value, especially since the price is reasonable.

Based on the pictures, I was a little apprehensive of this place, but it was actually very charming. Our room was cute and comfortable. Yes, it is old and in no way modern, but that added to it's charm. My only complaint was there was no hairdryer. Other than that we loved our stay and would stay here again. The cafe was yummy as well. If you go for breakfast get the huevos rancheros. Delicious!
