The hotel is a bit dated, but well maintained and very clean. There was freeway noise all night. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Overall it's Good place to stay for the rooms. Friendly suggestion would be clean the workout room, equipment is incredibly dusty, & seriously what is the deal with the multiple rows of plant hangers above the pool?

Thank you for taking the time to complete our post-stay survey. The hooks in the pool room are not for plants, they are hooks to hold baffles. We use baffles to cut the noise down in the pool. We are replacing the old ones, so the hooks are currently empty.

We were only there for an overnight stay, but all aspects were good. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, and breakfast was tasty. Our only complaint was that the hot tub was out of service.

The dust around baseboards and vents is thick. I have terrible dust allergy. The rug is filthy. So hot in room but temp said 69. Turned heat down but nothing changed. Had to turn air on. Not sure bed is cleaned due to sheets are so wrinkled.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The staff was excellent. A very welcoming young man was working when we checked in. The woman working in the breakfast area was friendly and willing to take the time to chat with guests. The woman working the reception desk when we. He led out was happy and thanked us for staying with them and wished us safe travels.

Stayed one night to attend event at Effingham Perf. Center. Easy and quick check in and out. Seemed to be ample parking spaces and shared parking lot with next door hotel but several areas of lot had not been cleared of snow from the previous day. Room was clean but clearly dated with wallpaper pealing up at the seams in several spots and bathroom fan. Breakfast was pretty decent with several hot choices of eggs, cubed potatoes, sausage, do-it-yourself waffles, and a few cereals and toast, bagels. Conveniently located close to Cracker Barrel and would have walked there if not for very cold conditions. I would recommend if looking for decent breakfast and clean rooms and want to save a little money.

We were there for 3 nights and in that time we had to get new room keys 7 times. 1 of the staff accused us of doing something to demagnetize the keys. One afternoon the lobby smelled strongly of marijuana, it was so strong that the whole first level hallway smelled like it after a short time

The pictures online are clearly old. The staff was nice but the hotel itself needs updates, cleaner rooms and overall fixes. The walls had cracks everywhere.
