Never ever going to look for “cheap” options.
Due to positive reviews we booked this guesthouse for 2 nights as we just arrived in Bali and wanted to recover from a long flight. We arrived in the evening and first thing I saw in the bathroom were ants. I freaked out (totally not used to ants since we’re from the Netherlands and we don’t have a tropical climate at all) I call staff. Two boys cannot speak english so they call their boss. The boss came in the bathroom and said “where are the ants? Where? Where”.. I felt like he was insinuating that I was lying as I told him, I just saw 3/4 ants a few minutes ago but now they are gone? Then again I did turned on the lights.. and read online that light can scare away the ants so thats probably why they were gone? So after that the boss said he did not see anything.. i told him I did saw them but ok.. Then we asked if it was possible to get another room? Just to feel more secure.. Yes.. if you pay extra.. and almost the same amount as what we’ve paid for our two nights booking... so I was not going to do that. He said we had a “cheap” room, so we basically gotta deal with it. After that he left and never returned to ask if everything was ok, prob because we have the “cheap option”. Also the second day.. we wanted to leave asap but because of our heavy jetlag.. we slept over 18h and woke up the second day at 5 in the afternoon.. we were so lazy and decided to stick for only one last night .. Also. Our sink had leftover hairs in it.. yuk!

We checked in very late and it was not a problem so stuff was very friendly. Room was ok, with AC and big enough. The bathroom was a bit smelly as there were no windows and the humidity is high. Location is great if you need to me near the airport

Quaint Hidaway
Budhas Guesthouse is in a good location with a lovely garden and felt very safe. The rooms are clean bed comfortable with basic facilities. The breakfast was very basic. If you pay a low rate than sufficient. I would not stay there again as I would be happy to pay extra and have a pool and a higher grade room.

OK for a short stay
I stayed in Budhas Guest House for a short stay. Considering the price, I didn't expect much. However, the room was clean enough and the staff was helpful.

VERY NICE!!
5日間滞在しました。 スタッフも笑顔で親切で、部屋も素敵でした❤︎ シャワーがお湯が出たので良かったです。 ここ以外のゲストハウスは水だったので。 大きなモール、安いコンビニ、安いエステ近くて便利でした♪ 格安で泊まれて大満足です！

отвратительное и вонючее место
Номера очень грязные, персонал моет только пол. Нам пришлось провести с ребенком ночь в номере 207 в котором сильно воняло канализацией. Из за этого мы не смогли уснуть. На следующее утро я попросила заменить номер, и нам поменяли номер на 208. У хозяина на все ответ, что отель дешевый. Я считаю, что надо уважать своих гостей, мы платим деньги и хотим ночевать в чистом свежем номере. Двери в номерах сломаны, на стенах плесень. Люди, избегайте это место, оно не стоит этих денег. Здоровье и впечатления дороже.

WORST PLACE IN BALI
No water pressure, toilet does not flush, shower head fell off wall, towl rack fell off wall, plumbing leaks onto floor of room. You will smell cigarette smoke in your room all day/night because the door too your room doesn't close. They are sliding doors that you can rarely open as well because they get locked on their hinges. Loud high pitch noise plays almost everyday. Woke me up at 7am, heard it around 10am over 7 times in 10 days, it lasts for almost 30 minutes. I have been in bali 4 months and there are 10x better places. Owner has no respect for customers at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Booking Stuff-up
Booking was not recognized. Manager said they had stopped dealing with Hotels.com 1 year ago. I had to find alternate hotel. I want a refund.
