I booked and then requested early check in due to arrival of flight and the festivities that I would be participating in not starting until later in the day. When I arrived to the hotel, I was told check in wasn't until later and I stated that I requested this and was told that I would be allowed to check in early as long as a room was available. I was then asked to leave credit card information (even though I booked through hotels.com) as there was a early check in fee that wasn't communicated to me.
The room was an exterior entrance room and the seal of the door was not very good, I ended up putting the most likely dirty top blanket in front of the door to keep the cold out. I didn't feel comfortable walking in the room bare foot or even with socks on. Debris left in the shower showed it wasn't fully clean. Sheets were rough. Towels were rough. Remote for TV, volume down button didn't work, channel left button didn't work, no guide, channels were snowy.
I'd saw this was a value if there was any sort of actual comfort.
