About 1/2 of the rooms at Liwu are hostel style, and the other 1/2 are hotel rooms. It's very reasonably priced, the rooms are very spacious, and the breakfast was quite good (buffet style). There aren't a lot of restaurants within walking distance for dinner, especially after around 8pm. The owner and staff are very hospitable.

旅館位於太魯閣公園出口，夜間環境安靜。 旅館設施尚可，房間內並無冰箱、熱水壺可以使用，若要裝熱水需要到樓梯口公用飲水機。內部隔音稍差，會聽到走廊聲音。

房間隔音不佳又碰巧遇到外頭放煙火，非常吵，浴室馬桶老舊沖水後要再扳一下。預訂四人房兩張雙人床，但是入住時床上只各放一個枕頭，棉被感覺是單人的很小件。原先因距離太魯閣近才預訂此客棧，但因連假有接駁車，其實可以訂花蓮的其他民宿，再搭接駁車進去即可。

Fabulous accommodation

This is by far the best place I have stayed at so far in Taiwan. The hosts are lovely. It is more a mini hotel than a a home stay. Super clean and quiet. Beautifully appointed. And an excellent price. The hosts recommended a loca hotpot place for dinner - again superb! I would totally recommend staying here.
