Just a couple hundred meters off of High Falls Road is a great waterfalls that is secluded enough to never see anyone else there. To get there, leave the road at the bridge over Kaaterskill Creek, and follow the riverbank downstream towards the falls. Once you reach the edge, there is a trail to the left that goes up before heading down to the bottom.
Got to see this waterfall from both the top and the bottom! Kaaterskill Falls is easily reached by a short hike from the road, and a bit more adventurous climbing and #hiking will get you to the pool between the upper and lower falls (pictured here)! #bestof5
This is the first time I ever found a swimming hole with a waterfall, but now I'm hooked! Must find more! Kaaterskill Falls is actually quite an easy hike, less than one mile from the road. #waterlust #bestof5
