“When I first got there they put me in a room that had a huge bump in the floor that I almost tripped over. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. And the ceiling in the front was all chipped and looks like it was coming down. I went to the front desk and they came upstairs to inspect and changed my room. The downside to that was I had a beautiful harbor view in my first room. However, they said that they would give me a harbor view in my new room, but when I looked out the window instead...

“First of all the staff at this location are top notch! Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance to the breakfast staff. Bravo! The rooms are cozy, cool and relaxing. The amenities are well maintained and there are plenty of them if you want to use the. The sitting areas are comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast is very good and the staff is on it to keep it clean and things refilled. Overall for an older building this is an excellent choice when in Charleston. Its well located...
