The front desk staff was a more mixed bag: the clerk encountered upon check-in was perfunctory and unenthusiastic, while the next morning’s (presenting the breakfast vouchers) offered the opposite impression and couldn’t have been more delightful. The room was clean and felt safe facing the pool courtyard. Ice makers on various floors were out of service but a lobby level machine was offered. The hotel is well located downtown for walkability; the casino is small and low-key."
