“Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave .”

“Everything was excellent. Room lovely comfy warm. Shower easy to use. Dinner was fab and delicious as was the lager. I tried it as I don’t drink but thirsty. Great. Breakfast was great too especially fried bread. Overall I would def. Go back without hesitation. Staff brilliant thanks to all.”
