"The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was staying there for the Ironman70.3 race and had to leave early that morning so the staff made several breakfast baggies for the racers to grab on way out. Friendliest staff for a hotel that I’ve been to. Huge room and great shower"
"The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed did not have a very good mattress, so consider that when planning for extra people. Also, trying to get in the door was an experience. It took several attempts to figure out how that worked as well as how to lock it. There should be better instructions, and a reminder to hold the door tightly closed when locking or it won't engage.
Booking through Expedia was ok, but was a bit misleading, as we thought we were getting a river view, however, this location was across the street and you could not see the river, also needed to cross the road to get to it. (not a deciding factor for future reservations as the site is lovely when you get there)"
"The shower didn't have hot water the morning I left (it did the night before) but other than that this is a nice hotel with a good free breakfast and 24/7 coffee for a reasonable price. If the hot water issue gets cleared up then I'd certainly stay here again."
"As a solo woman traveler, safety and cleanliness are really important. The Fallon Hotel fulfilled both -- a quiet downtown with the young family owners in residence. The bed linens and towels were immaculately white and the bed super comfortable. Also important to me is avoiding chain hotels where each one looks like the last. Travel should bring new experiences. The Fallon Hotel comes through again, a huge old building in a historic old town along the Susquehanna River. And it's a great opportunity for people who love old buildings to get a glimpse into one family's dream project (a big one ....). I think some rooms are more restored than others and the one I had still needed a few minor tweaks. But I loved the original sink and bathtub, the light fixtures, etc. I hope they continue to "lean" into and restore these special features that make for a true historic hotel experience. I'll definitely stay there again."
"It was a lovely inn set in eagle state park. Only reason for my good rating was the bed was too high and wasn't really comfortable. Everything else was top knotch...from the eco-friendly practices to the tasty breakfast."
"We thought we had booked the room for the night of our arrival but found out we were off by a day. Called the check in number and was helped by a very understanding person who made it possible to stay that night. After a long day of traveling this was a wonderful outcome. Room was clean and plenty of towels to go around."
